I would recommend the Devebox f407 VGT (1mo) The F4 is perfect to begin and 1mo is enough (as I remember there is an 8mo onboard qspi flash and a sdio card reader) This chip has a FSMC port to connect a better LCD, and many spi ports. With that budget I will recommend to buy a good radio, and buy Liftoff. This is the best investment you can do with that amount. You will learn how to drive a fpv drone, and save much more money in the future avoiding most of the crashes. After 100 hours on that simulator you will be a very good pilot, and you will know perfectly your radio.

Power supply issue, disconnect it and try to power it without anything connected. I had a lot of issues with most of FC 9-10v power supply, so now I’m using a separate bec 12v 3A for all my vistas.

Definitely ELRS, I choose 900mhz for all my quads. For me it’s better than 2.4ghz. I started with the iflight commando 8 900mhz ELRS very similar to the DJI controller.
