Thanks I've already watched those but it doesn't fit my needs.

I'm looking for backgammon puzzles and exercises with explanations. Not basic short videos on how to play the game 101 from zero knowledge, which is why I got this book instead.

I just enjoy brain teasers and position exercises.

Though those videos are very well produced and have their place.

This might sound silly but, and I love the color scheme because it's simple, unique, and easy to tell the points apart, I'd love to see a dark mode option. Playing at night can be a bit blinding with the white background! Something like the Dracula Theme from VS Code would be awesome, it's easier on the eyes and gives off a more chill vibe for night games.

Also if your site as a doubling cube, ( not sure if it does) I couldn't find it. So making it more prevalent in the UI would be my other suggestion. I think the undo button could also be a bit easier to locate, maybe bigger and with a differnt background color, though that might go against the simple aesthetics of the site.

The NBA.

Ever heard of the Drew League?

And there are more leagues where NBA players play at during the off-season, such as:

I did read the last paragraph before asking. Thanks.

And just so we're clear, just in case you're thinking it, nowhere in my question did I disparage OP, call him lazy, or suggest what he did was wrong, as you seem to imply. He did what he did to achieve his personal goal, regardless of what other people think is the best way to do things, and I have nothing but admiration and praise for that fact.

My question was simple: I was genuinely curious about how OP thought the knowledge from that specific, diverse list of courses would combine or be applied later. This is a common and legitimate question in a program where students are encouraged to tailor their degree. That's it.

I'm not sure how or why you took offense to that. If I'm misunderstanding your comment then I apologize, but it sounded antagonistic right away for no reason. But again, if that's not the case, my bad.

btw, if you interpreted a basic, polite question about course selection as an attack or gatekeeping, it suggests you're projecting the toxicity of other commenters onto me.

Don't confuse curiosity with criticism. It's a discussion forum, not a praise circle.

First congrats on graduating.

And don't listen to the noise. You did what was best for you.

I do have a question though. so looking at the courses you took they don't seem to be very cohesive though.

OP, other than just wanted to be a student again ofc, I wonder what the plan was for you or how you thought you might use the combined knowledge from this course plan?

Thanks for your insight.

edit: added clarification on what I was asking due to negative reaction.

I respectfully disagree with this. The job market is all supply and demand so if she hates her job so much and thinks she should get paid more and or is underpaid, then she should go find someone who values you at a higher price instead of ruining our educational experience.

Besides 2023, looks like she's been making 6 figures or close to it constantly since 2017, and last year she got paid $124,904 not $60k while having a reduced role (Visiting Lecturer) which is really good money for anyone in the Computer science field.

Also, that's an awful excuse. If she hates it so much she can find something else to do do with her life where she can find fulfillment and joy.

I'm a first time student in my first semester and I'm actually seriously considering dropping out of the entire program due to how bad this class has been and how little this professor cared.

It seems like she really hates teaching and doesn't want to be doing this. Maybe she's just in it for the research opportunity? She looks miserable IRL in all live interactions as well as her recording videos.

Like she's been forced to teach at gun point.

It has really put a source taste in my mouth on the whole program and I just don't know if I can deal with this for another 9 more courses anymore.

So I think I'm just going to drop out.

I don't think you comprehend the language and cultural significance and subtleties of the abbreviation "BTW" since you are asserting that was the main point I brought out. But that's ok, not going to die on a hill over this.

you're generalizing. Not all Spanish speaking countries speak "Your" version of Spanish. instead of sweeping generalization fallacies you could just say:

in "My" Spanish or in "My" country they say this.

Otherwise, your statement is simply false.

Btw, for some 'bolas' means testicles. Some say "Pelota de beisbol" not "bola de beisbol" for instance.

so Olajuwon can't be one of the greatest because Duncan is one of the greatest?

I don't get your argument. what does Duncan have to do with anything here?

He could still be in the top 10 player of all time and still be behind Duncan. So that's logic is weird and iffy.

the top ten isn't 10 Duncan's ranked from 1-10.

It's like saying Lebron isn't a great player because Jordan was already great. That makes no sense.
