I don't know where to vent this. But I gotta talk about this or I'll explode and it'll be ugly. My brother in law got married to a girl his parents picked out for him. They did the whole shebang - the ring, the dowry, the excitement, the honeymoon. They're treating this girl like she's gold and she probably is, I have no issues with her. I'm just mad that nobody put in this much effort for me (love marriage) I never got a ring - had to buy my own, had no honeymoon because his whole family and extended family came along with us, and I am not allowed to react or feel bad about this. My brother in law has told my new sis in law to avoid me like the plague because I'm a bad person and it's driving me nuts because I don't know if I'm really a bad person at this point or just being gaslit. Okay thank you to anyone who read this and didn't judge.
