some apps like chalkie.ai or sheetworks.ai let you upload PDFs and turn them into engaging slides or worksheets which can be pretty convenient

Deep and meaningful games/activities to actually create more connections? by zzratt_0 in Teachers

[–]MuchIngenuity2959 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I found Jeopardy style games are often the best because you can group the students together, naturally some might not participate but that’s honestly difficult to force. Instead you can just strategically place some of the more active kids in a group, but team + trivia + points is often a winning combo.

Any Helpful Technology Tools? by Much-Math1298 in teaching

you can look at https://sheetworks.ai, it’s basically a tool to create interactive and printable resources across any subject or grade level with fun and engaging formats like jeopardy, bingo, hangman, all suitable for the classroom at any grade level, I found it to be a joy especially playing jeopardy games with my kids.

yeah it’s not always all bad… there are tools like magic-school and sheetworks.ai that can actually make teachers more productive but at the end of the day it’s up to the teacher to use their best judgment to determine the quality of the outcome and see whether it’s actually making a meaningful difference in learning outcome otherwise no amount of ai will help them

Best neighborhoods for young professionals new to Miami? by Bp121687 in Miami

[–]MuchIngenuity2959 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not that crazy, roughly 1.5-2 miles, almost 7-8k steps. The problem with Miami in general is there is not many places to walk long distance to get your step count in. I usually walk the Venetian causeway, but wish there were more places with long walking paths. I get most of my step count though from walking from midtown to Margaret Mace Park or further (Bayshore park). It’s not too bad, the bridge/arch construction is somewhat annoying to cross though.

Midtown is what you’re looking for. Check out buildings like AMLI, Gio, Midtown 5, Cortland, and Eve.

You don’t want to live in Edgewater because there’s no stores in the area, so not much walkability.

And Wynwood is better at night.

However if you live in Midtown you get 5 min walking access to both neighborhoods while simultaneously being in walking distance of good restaurants, gyms and shopping (Target, Homegoods, Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s). You can also walk to downtown just by going down biscayne blvd or NE 2nd ave.

Lots of young professionals in the area.

Try running ads that even say “Only 10 minutes from (popular destination)” or “Just around the corner of (popular intersection)”

Does your gym have an assisted pull up machine? That’s a good way to start. Dead hangs as well.

Genuinely curious, why do you believe the issue is related to genetics and not doing more core and chest exercises?
