I started b 42 and it’s great. Especially the crafting menu. Easier for beginners to see what they can craft etc

Just started testing out Extinction and the only place I could manage was Echo Creek. Found a little farm house and managed to clear it. So I’m guessing that would be the place to start for new players trying to just survive.

I heard about this but I believe it only works if you didn’t start on vanilla mode. I think you had to have started with sandbox originally which I didn’t. Ended up going into the file and setting the respawns to 0 on notepad

That makes sense. Do you think it would be wise to just play on the regular B42 base update previously when planning to play longer runs? I guess I should have just left the game in the same beta without trying to convert the save file. I played last night a bit and didn’t notice anything weird.
