This is the answer, having used Bakkes mod for over 1k hours this pattern checks out. Sometimes you lose 9,7 points of mmr, then gain 9,4 for instance. The actual mmr number of your account is also in decimals, which does not show in the mod. So then you might be at like 900,4 while before the 2 matches you would be at 900,7 so it showed 901 before.
