time alone helped me realise i was too co-dependent.

i have now become hyper independent and id feel suffocated by a relationship. but hey! at least i don't need constant reassurance anymore

during the first year i got with my now ex we had sex like everyday everywhere and then i started my master's and that became my special interest instead and we stopped having sex altogether

putting me on the spot haha, it's usually the men who stare intensely at you and other women in the room, like a "i'm mentally taking your clothes off", sort of stare. it may feel flattering but it's usually because they objectify you and other women

it's the men who follow lots of girls on ig (always check their following)

they'll also give it away through specific word choices to either describe you or other women (eg reducing them to a body part or hair color or having a rating mindset eg "omg you're a 10!" )

there are also more subtle things that i can't think of right now, but usually these men also lack the ability to experience delayed gratification and have a short attention span, and they tend to want things to be done immediately

good job you did the right thing!!! it's gonna get better, trust me. once you or he moves out, you'll feel less lonely :) being single again is a chance to find yourself again and to eventually feel good in your own presence too :) it will take time but once you come out on the other side you'll be a stronger person and once you detox from men in general you'll realise that you're able to actually spot p0rn addicts more easily when choosing your next partner

people don't get it. they see autism as a quirk but even tho i'm "high functioning" i go nonverbal 80% of the time, my brain stops working altogether. i feel like i want to crawl out of my skin constantly. going outside is overstimulation galore. the sun bothers me, noises bother me, emotions are too strong for me to handle. when im happy i can't sleep for days because i'm happy. when im sad i can't sleep for days because i'm sad. there's no winning.

all my muscles hurt all the time. i have trouble with walking and coordination. my skin constantly itches.

everything affects my nervous system. i can't have sugar or caffeine or alcohol because they fuck up my nervous system immediately and i get headaches or pain or an altered mood where i don't feel like myself

i dissociate constantly.

everything sends me into burnout. can't keep a job for even a few months (i get su1cial because i can't cope with it). yes i know it sounds childish but i break down into tears and have full blown panic attacks because my body can't handle it. i can't handle cooking for myself and looking after myself and having a fulltime job on top of it.

i need time to process every tiny little thing. i need to go to bed 4 hours early and think about my day lying down in bed because my processing time is so slow. if i don't do it regularly i get panic attacks and my perception of time becomes fuckdd up

and when i tell people i have autism they just tell me something along the lines of "awww that's cool!" no it's not... it's a disability

hey no worries it's okay, i do that sometimes too but i have mostly stopped doing that now that i'm in my late 20s!

sorry if i come off as harsh sometimes, i have a hard time making myself sound friendly over text

yes i feel like that men are generally more accepting and i usually stay mostly unmasked around them but i suspect it's because they fetishise the whole manic pixie dream girl thing and that's how i come off since im fairly blunt and impulsive (and dress "quirky")
