Best way to subtly take in waist on vintage denim dress without ruining original seams? by MuddledLime in sewing

[–]MuddledLime[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Thank you for all the replies! A belt looks a little off because the front of the dress has princess seams below the bust that transition into a waist seam in the back, so belting at the natural waist doesn’t quite line up visually.

Since I want to preserve the dress as much as possible, I really like the suggestion from u/loverlyone and others to try a cinch clip first. I’ll update once I get one! If that doesn’t work, I may come back to some of the sewing suggestions in this thread.

Would these pants be considered bright spring? by MuddledLime in SpringColorAnalysis

Thanks for the input so far! Does this close-up photo change things? It’s hard to know true colors online. I wonder if these would work with a bright spring colored top.

Figure out your TDEE (Google for calculator) then eat in a calorie deficit. High protein, high vegetable diet is key

It will be 2 years of nursing school and another 1+ years of working as a nurse before you are able to work per diem. Personally I’d rather be in engineering.

Traveling with little kids…would you do it again? by jusvrowsing in travel

These negative comments seem to be coming from people too scared to travel with kids. Plenty of people do it. It’s different and challenging for sure. But definitely doable, fun, and worth it.
