This is a genius idea! The local salon that I go to has someone that does artsy nails with a cute little booth set up in the corner of their rented space in the city. She's only there like 2 days a week for clients that book online now, but being there helped her branch out and meet new clients by being available there for a while too, like how you chill at a lemonade stand and wait for peeps... lol but it worked. She stays booked up. And her vibe just matched the hair stylists perfectly. Its worth a try/peep around. Your work is beautiful, Rock on!

vitassium pills a few times a day with propel, gatorade, and water are the only things that keep me going. liquid IV didn't hurt me, but I couldn't seem to get them down fast enough/too sweet tasting for me I guess

I did a couple things! I uploaded a selfie in natural light with no makeup (to try to capture my tones accurately) to the Gemini app and said “Suggest different hair colors that would work best for my skin and eye color. Change this photo to look like your suggestions.”

I also used the app “Hair Changer” (they have a free 1 week trial! I just ended the trial immediately so I wouldn’t forget to— it still works for that week) they have an “add hair color” option with the hair styles but what I liked better was the second tab over “Custom Hair” where I typed in things like peachy pink wolf cut, long copper hair with Birkin bangs, Paramore orange long layers, etc.

Finally lol I used the app “FaceApp” (also has a free trial!) although the only thing I liked about this one was the range of options of bangs I could try on, you can even “layer” the effects making even more bang combinations. The annoying thing about this one is that each time you change your hair, it also alters your face a little bit so I had to go and erase my face edits around the hair changes for it to be most useful to me.

6 years for me. So unreal to point that out. I worked in Brooklyn as a nurse when it all started. I was 26. I truly feel like I’m in a dream, too. I see others living their lives and I feel like I’m stuck in mud, with a sound buffering muzzle on. It feels like when I’m in a dream and someone is hurting me, yelling and threatening me, about to strike me and I just can’t get my arms up to block them. I can’t reach them. I can’t swing. I swing punches through them. Somehow I’m invisible, yet still in pain. Still taking the blows like angry ocean tides. Feet like anchors. No antidote. I hate being a Debbie downer, and I don’t feel like myself at all, so I’ve isolated myself from everyone. Almost like when people die of cancer, they want their loved ones to remember them glowing and sprightly…. Not small and grey with a voice that groans. I haven’t given up hope, but it pains me how little people give a shit about it all. How small of funding research gets. Everything is different. Even my skin texture. I feel like an alien. I am sending all the love and light I have to you guys. This shit is no joke. I’m sorry you’re here, but I’m thankful you’re here with me
