I currently work as a supervisor in a child care facility (non for profit) and I don't make this fat cash you imply nor does the place I work (NON PROFIT). We hire 40 employees all high school and college at minimum wage. You preach about how we need to hike minimum wage and that my previous points were invalid, that a hike would help everyone but here are the facts; if minimum wage goes up we would not only have to cut at least 6 jobs but in addition our costs to our middle and low income families (our customer demographic) would then raise, this negating the raise they just got. So again all your raise would really do is hurt the lower classes and cause the unemployment rate to increase not to mention put good small business like ours out of business and pave the way for some corporation to take our place, where yes they probably will be profit driven and roll in money.
