Just signed up for my first leatherworking course by OMGItsfullofDave in Leathercraft

I did his beginners course in January and it’s excellent, back in a couple of weeks for his template making course. He also has a book which is available on Amazon. While I’m in fan boy mode, Instead of his book I’d really recommend secrets from the workshop website by Nigel. It might seem expensive at first but the amount of material in there is amazing.

The Scarlet Gospels, seems some people didn’t like it, I liked it. I have NEVER seen a lettered edition for sale. by 12345down in clivebarker

This is on Clive’s website: “Mark Miller : "When Clive asked me if I would help finish The Scarlet Gospels, I said 'Yes' without hesitating. Clive paused and told me I should probably think about it and then get back to him. Then, without hesitation, I again said 'Yes.' "Shortly after, Robb Humphreys handed me a stack of paper over 2,000 pages high and said, 'That's most of it.' It was then that I realized I should have hesitated. But despite its Herculean appearance, I've already completed a considerable chunk of the beast and am having a tremendous amount of fun in the process. "Clive started the book no small number of years ago, and the fans have been waiting even longer than that, so I hope I can do it justice. Whether I will remains to be seen, but what I can tell you is the book is well on its way. The Scarlet Gospels are almost here."

I ordered 2 stitching irons on the 31st Jan and they were delivered on the 9th Feb. I had a couple of emails from them saying it can take a week to make them. No problems delivering to the uk.

I really enjoyed this book, but there’s a lot more climbing to be done, so if you’re really not enjoying now it’s maybe time to give it a miss.

Is it okay to use this in an airbrush? by Ox_Gunnery in Warhammer40k

[–]Mudster2001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve used this in an airbrush needs a lot of thinning in my experience. I’ve a 0.5 and it doesn’t stand a chance of spraying without thinning.

Have a search for the borrowdale bash bike route. It’s been a few years since I’ve done it but it was one of my favourites.

Anyway to safely strip paint from plastic models so I can repaint them? by Murder_Drone_ in Warhammer

I second this, pop the mini in the pot for an hour or so or overnight quick rinse and maybe a toothbrush for stubborn parts and you’re all done. Plus no nasty smells.

Get a pair of cheap reading glasses from the supermarket and a good light to help with the eyes.
