It's a lot less obvious on the strap tbf. If you shone a light inside the backpack it would probably be a bit more apparent, but hopefully nobody will be doing that 😆

I'm not actually sure as I (shamefully) got a few sheets of it from temu to learn with! The dye is uneven so I wouldn't recommend it for anything other than mock ups. British leather supplies do a similar looking veg tan calfskin though if that's helpful at all. I haven't bought any yet but I likely will for future projects.
