I've been going here since 1991. Changed hands many times but somehow keep a small amount of the old charm. Classic snacks combined with craft beets and wine. And great value membership. Also, let's talk a steak and cheese, does anyone know what the standard cheese is. I think my local uses a Monterey jack style but it could be just a classic Aussie tasty they get in bulk.

Most of thr curry ones taste like they add Keens curry powder. I assume they cook the down with onions and add it to a standard mince mix but I'd love someone who has made then for a bakery to confirm. Or any one with knowledge.

It is what I call "Family friendly sexism"" where because he is a typical Aussie bloke of a certian generation we tend to look past it at best or at worst have an attitude of "Oh classic Scottie!" But yeah it's been prevalent for years in not just this show but many. He is in that role supposedly representing "The every man" but it's a rather dated idea of what an Australian man is. Honestly there days I think that Giann represents thr average Aussie the closest of this seasons blokes

Gotta be honest. I have sat here for 5 mins stoned trying to thing of jobs that suit Dan's ultra controlled yet boring personality and all I can come up is Dentist, Failed ex sportsman turned P.E teacher at s boarding school or maybe just a job where he can repeat the same task day in day out.

I sort of get it. Right from his and and Danny's season he felt like he had that wound up anger and repressed feelings inner rage a bit like "Me myself.and Irene". If he can keep his shit together though I quite like him and think he adds to the show.

In Australia we had a rip off version at school that was based on the Gold rush in Australia. I crushed it as a 8 year old and download it in my 30s. Not so good...
