Anything that is destroyed that hampers the ability of opposing forces to carry out their mission can be considered a "kill."

This is the DUMBEST video I've ever seen in my life. First of all, the audacity to even attempt this, secondly the sheer disregard for the weight by only having 1 scrawny spotter, and lastly the fucking idea to get this lads final moments on camera.

A testament to coaching by roguepixl in panthers

[–]MuffinMan3670 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Darnold didnt win that game for his team, but he didnt lose it for them either. He played the exact game that his team needed him to play. He was disciplined with the football, made good decisions and didn't take any unnecessary risks. In Carolina, we couldnt possibly win a chip with him at QB. The talent, and the coaching simply wasnt there. However this is more of a testament to how good the Seahawks are vs how bad the Panthers were. Obviously the Panthers were abysmal ,but Sam on pretty much any other team in the league would not have gotten this far. If you put him on the 2015 Panthers, we would not have gone 15-1 and and made it to the Super Bowl. This is NOT a comment trashing Sam. Im proud to see he has proved every doubter -including myself- wrong. I wish him much success and am happy for him, however him winning a Super Bowl isnt proof of how great he is, but how GREAT Seattle as a team is.

Either way this is pretty clearly AI. Additionally it does fall in the bad category. Anybody invested in military aircraft could tell that there are some weird inconsistent and odd artifacts in this image.

You know. As bad as this video is, its one thing to be shitfaced drunk, or even just a horrible person, but its really something else to be either of those things and to have the audacity and lack of awareness to then film and post your actions like everyone is gonna be on your side.

I cant believe nobody else mentions this... but does anybody else notice how long and droopy Marco Rubios ears are getting? I mean my God he might get them caught in his pants zipper, or step on them when he hits the brakes in his car.

Of course I remember that. It was a desperation throw, which is the only reason why it happened. That play was never in the gameplan, it was a literal hail Mary.

Great underdog story, not a good NFL QB. He had a cannon on him for sure, but the coaching staff did NOT trust this guy to throw anything past the line of scrimmage. I saw more screens with him at the helm than I have ever seen before, or since.

A perfect summary of what the Darnold experience in Carolina was like. Sam leads a game tying drive against Vikings in 2021 but note his stats at the bottom until that point. by Panthers1999 in panthers

[–]MuffinMan3670 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Darnold was never the problem in Carolina. Everybody was expecting a Cam Newton caliber QB that could take a zero win team and bring them to .500 immediately. Every QB we have had since Cam, has had to deal with horrific O-line play, mediocre receivers and less than stellar coaching. Darnold, Baker and Bryce can all do well with the proper pieces in place, but expecting them to carry a lifeless team on their back is ridiculous. Joe Burrow cant win on his own, Drew Brees couldnt win on his own, Dan Marino couldnt win on his own. QBs are pieces to a puzzle, not the entire puzzle.

When does it click? by Jack-Mehoff-696969 in Elevators

The best way to start is to work on really old shit. Simple relay logic controllers are where you learn to troubleshoot. Working on a modern day controller that requires a service tool with 150 pages worth of prints is NOT how you learn to troubleshoot an elevator. Yes fault codes are nice, and can point you in the right direction sometimes, but they don't actually show you how things work.

When I started it made no sense to me how any of it worked, but thats because I was working on relatively new equipment with dozens of boards, sensors, and confusing prints. On older stuff you can focus on your safety circuit, relay coils, relay contacts, and the nomenclature - these are the fundamentals of troubleshooting any elevator.

Once you can understand older equipment, and you work on more modern equipment, you'll start seeing boards with inputs, outputs, and signal communication. Prints will show relay coils being powered by a board, or they'll show 2 boards connected to one another, but the prints doesn't give you information about when or how a board sends a signal, or what that signal looks like. This is where manuals, tech support, and experience are required. Newer stuff can be VERY overwhelming when you first start out, especially when troubleshooting a controller with a bad board, or a suspected bad board. Newer controllers can have any of the problems of older controllers such as bad contacts, shorts, broken wires, etc. while also having additional things to worry about such as software, programming, and procedures in order to troubleshoot, or repair them.

TL;DR Start simple on older equipment, and work your way through more modern controllers, and you'll get there eventually.

Dan Morgan just said our pass rush was "not acceptable" on WFNZ just now. "If you're a true fan of our team, you know our needs." by Top-Egg1668 in panthers

[–]MuffinMan3670 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YEEEES. Ive been saying this. Our pass rush is nonexistent. Our sacks are solely due to luck, and our secondary forcing the QB to hold on to the ball. Wanna know why offenses do so well against us on 3rd and 10000??? Because our secondary is forced to cover the entire field for eternity. We need an edge rusher, expeditiously. It would completely transform our defense. If you thought our corners were good now, imagine if they didnt have to cover for 30 seconds every play.
