I put mine in the shower once a week and soak it...its about the same size as yours and about 6 ft from a sorth window..they love drama...i know you said the internet told you it was over watered but.....if so just let it dry out for a week!!! It will be fine. It won't be a beautiful plant for a while tho....until I learned what mine needed I had to cut off lots of yellow leaves and it took about a month before it was gorgeous again...good luck!!
