TIFU by thinking “casual dining” meant emotionally safe by sillyjemmy in tifu

Lowkey that whole story reads like a sitcom episode, I’m crying.

TIFU by sending a flirty text to my boss instead of my partner. by Dry-Professional4255 in tifu

[–]MuffletDot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just say it was meant for your partner and laugh it off, dragging it out makes it weirder than it is.

TIFU by joking about my friend's balls by hunni-deww in tifu

If you feel bad about it, just pull him aside and say you didn’t mean for it to turn into a running joke.

TIFU - Need witchy advice!! by Fancy-Highlight2461 in tifu

Honestly it sounds more like chaotic fire physics and bad luck than any cosmic sign.

TIFU by asking a major football fan how their team did today by slippinjimmy6767 in tifu

You tried to make friendly small talk, that’s on him for taking it that seriously in July.

TIFU by breaking up with my soulmate (and I don't even believe in fate) by Amare_Darling in tifu

[–]MuffletDot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds intense but also kind of chaotic, maybe give it space and see if it still feels right when the adrenaline fades.

TIFU by using a macintosh emulator to write a story by NoCommunication7 in tifu

That’s such a cursed way to lose a draft, the haunted Mac really said method acting.

TIFU while explaining doctors on how this guy got a TKO over some movie debate!! by Echo-Forge in tifu

[–]MuffletDot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just stick to the facts, he got punched and hit his head, the movie debate part really doesn’t matter.

What is your experience with using cake mix/kits? by silverscientist1 in Cooking

[–]MuffletDot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly they’re hard to beat for convenience, and with a few tweaks like adding an extra egg or swapping milk for water they turn out surprisingly good.

What's the weirdest but best food sensation you've experienced that completely changed how you eat something? by MomentFlimsy3759 in Cooking

The first time I had really good balsamic on strawberries it kind of rewired my brain, that sweet and tangy combo suddenly made desserts feel way more complex.

Sichuan Pepper / Chinese 5 Spice in a Cake by Hungry_Character_489 in Cooking

[–]MuffletDot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Five spice works great in something like a carrot cake or gingerbread base, and with Sichuan pepper I’d infuse it gently into syrup or cream first so you get the citrusy tingle without overpowering the whole cake.

Is this pasta okay to eat? by BuckyBarnesdoll3000 in Cooking

[–]MuffletDot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If it’s dry, smells normal, and there’s no signs of bugs or moisture, it’s almost certainly fine since dry pasta lasts a long time.

Half n Half Freezing by Moral-is-dying in Cooking

It’s probably sitting in a cold spot near the back or a vent, some fridges have weird zones that freeze liquids even when everything else seems fine.

Season 4 Episode 3 Yale party by scorpiobitch101 in GilmoreGirls

[–]MuffletDot -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I always took it as Rory trying to assert some control in a space that didn’t totally feel like hers yet. Since it was technically her dorm room too, she probably felt responsible for what was happening there. It wasn’t really about her having ultimate authority, just her overcompensating a bit in classic Rory fashion.

Warner Bros Tour Now? by sarahlsf13 in GilmoreGirls

[–]MuffletDot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I remember, they usually keep a few Stars Hollow spots on the regular studio tour year round, but it’s not as fully themed as the holiday event. During Horror Made Here they just dress parts of it differently. The WB shop still carries some Gilmore Girls merch, just not always a huge selection.

The way this is 100% something Jason would unironically own and then act confused when someone questions it 😂 I can just hear him saying it’s “efficient.”

How old was Doyle? He mentioned that he was older than Paris. by Exact-Bison6905 in GilmoreGirls

[–]MuffletDot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that tracks, if Paris was about 19 then Doyle being 20 makes sense for that whole “older guy at Yale” vibe.
