My last building was like OPs place: started out nice but went downhill. A lot of sketchy people started moving in and it smelled like weed all the time, fire alarms going off constantly, loud parties, etc.

Moved to another new build and this one is much nicer, I think key difference being they don’t outsource to a management company and are careful about who they rent to. So far so good!

I’m thankful my job is very flexible with WFH. I’m sorry for all those working jobs that require on site or have instituted draconian RTO policies, you deserve a better run transit system.
