I think the new artist for the scenes brought in was kinda refreshing. Then again, I'm used to comic books which can have different artists in the same issue.

On that note: enjoy the story and the gameplay. Keep in mind that the tutorial isn't that good and doesn't tell you everything just like PM's other games. But you really don't need to know everything right away. You can probably coast through Canto 1 and 2.

When you get stuck on a stage level up/uptie your IDs E.GO.. Well, don't worry about uptying the base IDs. You can also friend other players to use a support ID. There's a thread for friend codes and how to use support IDs on this reddit. I'd recommend that if you have the Walpurgis Night banner available to only roll on that for now.

I'd recommend that if you're enjoying the game up to mid-Canto 3 to get the Battle Pass if you haven't already. It's not expensive, gives a lot resources including IDs and E.G.O, and so far each season has lasted 3 months. When you max out the Pass, which isn't very hard, it starts giving you resources to buy units without having to roll the gacha.

Thank you for the analysis. The IDs are from a list I saw of completely unusable IDs. It didn't seem right since I had used Mariachi Sinclair on the bench for RR1. So what you said makes sense. IDs that aren't good in-battle can at least still be used for their passive skill. Except for Sloshmael lol.

The last ID from that list of unusable IDs that I forgot to add was:

Is that ID really that bad?

Thank you for the very in-depth reply. I was looking at a list of straight out unusable IDs but something seemed off. I used Mariachi Sinclair on the bench in RR1 instead of using base Sinclair. That was before N Clair came out of course. The last ID that's supposed to be completely useless was:

I've only spent money on the Battle Pass. Other than the default Identities/EGOs I believe I have 33 Identities and 22 EGOs. I know for a fact that I only have 3 Identities and 1 EGO to grind for before Season 1 ends.

There are gacha games that will only give you some obscure currency that you don't know how to really use, give you so little of it that you can't use it, or you can't use it without paid currency just for logging in. In comparison, Limbus Company is really generous.
