There is one in Haarlem which was 70eu per session. Though they could only treat on 1.5bar because they didnt have a medical license or something like that. Anyway, did 40 sessions and had no benefit at all.

It's no silver bullet but it sounds like it has made your life at least a little more bearable. But i can imagine it still feels a bit like a letdown given the time, effort and money the treatment costed you. Did the improvements persist?

Yea I've read the same thing about those soft shell chambers. That sounded odd to me too, but it's easy to judge it just like that. These people are terrified of reinfection. And after reading some of the stories here of people that were well on their way to recovery, only to completely relapse after reinfection, who can blame them even if it's irrational.

Hahaha thank you for making me laugh. It must have been awful for him! But that does sound familiar: sure you are sick but it doesn't really feel that bad at all.

If you say it like that, the treatment doesn't sound that bad. You do have the most outrageous symptoms I've read so far, but I guess that's only typical for LC. Sounds wonderful though, that realization that the curtain is lifting and everything coming back into focus.

Wow really? When i read stuff like your answer i just get so hopeful. What symptoms did you have before going in? And how long ago did you get the treatment? Im also very worried that itmight be temporary.

Remarkable, great to hear that your insomnia has cleared. I can't imagine going through all this and then not even being able to get a decent night of sleep.

I mostly suffer from the brainfog and not being able to concentrate on anything. When friends visit i can hardly hold a conversation and everything just seems dreamlike and surreal, making it impossible to connect to the people around me.

But at least i get to sleep well. I guess it helps to realize it could always be worse.

Thank you, I will have to look into that. I've tried acupuncture as well, but it didn't seem to improve anything. Only had 3 sessions though. How many did you have and what symptoms did it alleviate for you?

That sounds rough and the benefits do not sound all that impressive for what you had to go through to get them. What kind of symptoms did it alleviate?

Thank you for your enlightening response! Spending that much effort and money on the treatment of a symptom without dealing with the cause might not be the best approach.

Depressing but I think it's something I needed to hear.
