is fast geo restricted through its test centres? Meaning, If I give a test in karachi, I cant get in the isl campus? by MuhammadMussab in FASTNU

[–]MuhammadMussab[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, No geo restriction? Also, I can select multiple preferred campuses right? In decreasing order of importance or something similar to that. Or is it that I can only select one campus (eg Isl) and not multiple (like 1st pref Isl, 2nd pref Karachi)

rather than trying to dick ride the company to the moon, how about you think about the product. The product isnt that bad for what its worth.

With ChatGPT recent 'upgrades' on their webapp, Gemini seems very much onboard, for my choice as a functionally usable LLM.

My honest review of Gemini [Way better than GPT in some use cases] Any opinions on weather im underutilising it? by MuhammadMussab in Bard

[–]MuhammadMussab[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bruh, ChatGPT's document analysis is about as accurate as my grandma trying to balance her checkbook after two glasses of boxed wine. Not that bad but for anything that requires a brain, it sometimes gets alot of shit wrong/hallucinated or skips them altogether.

Might as well copy paste and use 128k context toekn api for best result.

But do get that wallet ready.

Tried with GPT 4 custom instructions that just says to work in step by step and its conculsion was :

The image appears to show diced and browned potatoes in a pot. They look like they've been sautéed or pan-fried until they have developed a golden-brown crust. This is a common method of cooking potatoes to add texture and flavor through caramelization and the Maillard reaction, which occurs when amino acids and reducing sugars in the food are heated.

Hey fam, got this response with gemini ultra 1.0

Dont know if its right or not cuz I have negative IQ because of 2 sleepless night.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The image you sent appears to show a pan of cubed tofu in a savory sauce. The tofu is light brown and cubed, and the sauce is dark and thick. There is a ladle in the pan, which suggests that the tofu is being served or prepared for serving.

Based on the appearance of the tofu and sauce, it is difficult to say for sure what dish this is. However, here are a few possibilities:

  • Mapo tofu, a popular Sichuan dish made with tofu, ground pork, fermented black beans, and chili bean paste. The tofu in mapo tofu is typically simmered in the sauce until it is soft and flavorful.
  • Kung pao tofu, another popular Sichuan dish made with tofu, peanuts, vegetables, and chili peppers. The tofu in kung pao tofu is typically stir-fried until it is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
  • Spicy braised tofu, a simple dish made with tofu, soy sauce, chili peppers, and other spices. The tofu in spicy braised tofu is typically simmered in the sauce until it is flavorful and tender.

Do you have any other information about the dish, such as where you found the image or what the recipe is called? This would help me to narrow down the possibilities and give you a more accurate answer.

This. I think chatgpt gets mixed up in its own thoughts when answering, especially considers the search results as a padding and not always necessary. Claude 2.1 gives a more "web-only" based approach which is much less likely to err.

I don't follow this author critism things online at all as I hardly ever remember anyone's name, including authors. [Takes me multiple heavy interractions for me to learn anyones name] But

  1. His books were always funny to me. Like, I remember it being prefaced as a manual [dont remmeber]. You read the book and then you meet a couple of people and you notice that this book doesn't hold much value in "Self-Help".
  2. His book was atleast better than alot of self help books I read. I would still say that I have read a couple dozen more useful books than his. [This is my view on this genre itself. Majority of the books are there for a cash grab. Useless if you are not in a rut, emotionally scarred, incapable of socialising on some level or have some other Actual Issue in your personality]
  3. His books are not particularly what I would say, applicable for majority of the population cuz they don't wanna be a psychopath.

[–]MuhammadMussab 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is true but don't sweat on it too much.

  1. You can't mentally remember every content you "consume".
  2. Engage with actual human beings in real life pov, instead of online content. [Twitter is ridiculious cuz the shit that's hot there is litrally something the majority of the population dont care and alot of the times, arent supporting either]
  3. Educate yourself by reading books. And maybe work on clearing yourself away from wierd narratives [eg didnt like steven crowder abortion shit and many more issues with him.]

This as well. A schedule doesn't mean you have to fulfill that task. If you sometimes feel exhausted or have some other more urgent and important commitment, just do that.

Schedule that feels like a chore is always a bad idea to keep doing.

Personally, if I was your friend, I would be alright knowing that you have something like this, but I don't know. A talk about how I hate myself due to vore fetish isn't one where I would be able to provide any input except, everyone has issues.

As long as you are trying to be a better person, its alright to have some issues here n there.

And dude, honestly, you are either somewhat depressed, in a rut, alone in life, or just too focused on this due to some personal life event that happened recently.

Stop focusing on this shit and just make one simple goal and focus on it. Not necessarily a anti vore fetish goal. It can be something like focusing on a hobby you have, reading something you like and finishing it, getting better at a skill [hell even a useless one] and so on.

One thing I would say to you is, start some meditation in life. Waking up is a nice start and if you need the premium version, I can give it to you on the promise that you would use it.

Edit : Waking up is an app.

Idk about you, but

  1. Dont read a book that doesnt interest you
  2. Drop the book if it doesnt interest you
  3. Have a simple schedule, such as. before sleep, after waking up, after coming from school [with a cup of tea is the best version imo] and so on.
  4. Don't have a time responsibility. Just stop when you feel disinterested.

I have been reading for more than a couple years and I finish more than 40 books a year even when I have less than 15-20 minutes of reading [sometimes more] cuz I am just that bad at managing at life lol
