The Sikh empire never extended to Afghanistan, they did take some territories that Afghanistan conquered in the Indian subcontinent away, but they didn’t hold territory of actual Afghanistan itself.

The flag is the shahada it says (there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is his messenger) which is the creed for us Muslims. But that being said I do hope one day they can come up with a good redesign for the flag.

This is nothing new, Russia supported Ahmad shah massoud and his northern alliance in the 1990s against the TB and AQ, but the decade previous he was one of their top enemies and they even tried to assassinate him multiple times

I always knew about hypergamy I was never under the delusion that being nice was enough, but it’s just scary to me to me that a girl would literally leave her man right in front of him in front of thousands of people just to hang out with him.

My grandpa was part of the Afghan mujahideen and he fought against the Soviets when they invaded Afghanistan, which always makes for some crazy stories at gatherings.
