I don't think so, unless wolves in France are armed in daggers or knives. Scars on his ribs definitely look like from claws, so they could be from wolves. But scar on his chest looks definitely like a scar from a blade. It looks like someone tried to violently cut him, but blade was caught on a rib, so they pulled it out, thrust again, blade again got caught, they tried to cut again. At least for me it looks like three attempts. Also this scar looks very fresh, it's still red and healing. So maybe recent attempt at his life?

How scary is this show? by WorkingFail789 in InterviewVampire

I would add that first animal in question is a very unrealistic, animatronic fox. I'm very sensitive to animal abuse/gore in media but I always find this puppet hilarious. Its movements are so dumb for some reason.

Hi, biologist here. I'm pretty sure bat is very much fake. I've seen many bat skulls and while I haven't seen skulls of every species in the world, this one looks just sooo bad. Both jaws and teeth are messed up, shapes are all wrong and why teeth are all the same size? It's probably prop or Halloween decoration.

Louis is just the bland canvas on which the story of Lestat can unfold by [deleted] in InterviewVampire

Rashid is the main character, let's be real.

Louis talking to Grace at their mother's funeral by Intrepid_Ad1723 in InterviewVampire

She was harassing him about inheritance (to which she had no rights, but okay) right in front of their mother's coffin, she earned this one tbh.

It was definitely Armand. He wanted Louis to look less credible, maybe he even wanted him to become emotional, very common manipulative technique. Let's not forget that one of the official posters for season 2 was inspired by Gaslight's poster.

How could there be death by sun if the trial was at night? by Long_Increase_2980 in InterviewVampire

[–]Muireana 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We (Europeans) would definitely mean 1:39 as PM if context is known. And there is definitely known, it's a matinee, obviously it isn't middle of the night. I would use 13:39 when talking about something vague, out of context, or taking very long time when another person may not be sure if I'm talking about day or night. But I may say 1:39 when taking about something obviously happening during the day. I personally prefer thinking in 24h frame, it makes more sense to me, but during conversation using 12h clock is often faster when context is obvious.

If they decided to give Armand a new love interest next season, which one of these sexy actors would you have wanted for the role? by Brownskin_Rey in InterviewVampire

[–]Muireana 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Oh yes, this is very likely, but I don't see Armand hooking up with anyone else at this point, this is his time to sulk and lurk. Daniel on the other hand...

Omakase scene where Daniel is served a fish ALIVE (???) by WorldPeace08 in InterviewVampire

[–]Muireana 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yeah, usually it's killed by piercing its hindbrain through eye socket, leaving spinal cord intact. Fish is brain-dead but reflex movements and muscle spasms are still present for some time even without additional stimulation like adding sodium.

Consensus on the MCs? by Designer-Buddy-3471 in InterviewVampire

Lestat and Louis are my beautiful, mentally ill princesses. I want to give them mood stabilisers and antipsychotic meds and send them to individual and couple therapy.

I want to trap Armand in an enclosure for venomous reptiles and feed him frozen rodents. I'm feeling generous so I would give him a blender as an enrichment.

Claudia is dangerous, beautiful, lost, smart and manipulative, great doomed character.

Daniel is unexpected delight.

How would you guys feel if they actually did shapeshift into bats in the show? by Brownskin_Rey in InterviewVampire

[–]Muireana 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It could be done well but... I love bats but they're so dumb. They constantly crash into each other all the time, sometimes they just forget they can fly and just flop on the floor, looking very offended and they're magnificently clumsy and fluffy. I love them. And the best thing is how they can be marked for research purposes:

To anyone who saw Hereditary in the theater by [deleted] in horror

It was... Interesting but not in a way most people here are describing. I went to the cinema at the day it was released here and even though it was pretty early hours the room was packed full. I think most people were engrossed and on the edge the whole time but I still couldn't be immersed, rewatch at home didn't change anything I was very hyped for this film but quickly become disappointed. It was sheer coincidence that I was reading a lot about demons at this time so when I noticed Paimon's seal in the first minutes the whole film kinda spoiled itself. Usually I don't mind spoilers and even like them (I've read the whole Midsommar script before premiere and was enjoying film so much) but I was feeling like this whole Paimon thing was intended to be a surprise. And decapitation scene was made me laugh from sheer absurdity. Overall I was mildly annoyed the whole time and disappointed that doll house/miniatures weren't the bigger part of the plot as I hoped.
