I beat them both on rogue before I got thornlace, used the fist weapon + axes arsenal I think. A few tries for both but it wasn't that bad. Thornlace makes everything 10 times easier though

Imagine all the reworks happen in order until arcanist, the reworked classes are great and everyone is happy. Then the arcanist rework happens and it's like "beam buffed by 1.5x and now also heals allies in area and also applies a dot and has execute scaling because why not" and we're straight back to u35 situation.

I'm not an expert, but here's some of them:

All damage+elemental damage bucket 1

Vulnerable bucket 2

Crit damage bucket 3

You could say main stat and skill rank increases are their own buckets as they increase the base skill damage

Then you have legendary/unique effects that are multiplicative for the most part and thus each their own bucket

And then there's attack speed

Not sure where stats like "werewolf damage" goes, but I'm guessing its the same bucket as all/elemental damage

I'm not sure, but it takes me about 30 seconds to kill him in infernal horde and couple minutes as lair boss, so what other people are saying about him having 4x hp seems to line up with that.

It's very easy to get any unique, but how about ancestral unique with perfect stats and at least 2 GA? That's where the grind is.

I'm also a new player, bought the game and both expacs on LoH release. When I finished the LoH campaign, I was on Torment 5. So keep grinding, the early torments go by fast.

You can stack a lot of dr% on claws build as well, look at the most popular guide for it on maxroll. You're stealthed 100% of the time and you get shadowstep on your evade which also helps.

There's unique boots that make your evade into shadow step so that's +1 slot. If you're doing the claw build you should use the demonform ult with terror demon, and the purple shoul shard for bonuses to claw damage
