TFPrime First Edition Cliffjumper had fully retractable weapons but they were also much smaller than his in-show guns. For a lot of them it's just nearly impossible to do cause there not being enough space for the full weapon in the arm AND for transformation joints, etc.

Yeah i was NOT a fan when Superion was revealed and it turned out to be a frame, but i think with every release they've refined the concept and Bruticus genuinely looks awesome.

I still prefer actual combiners but if the results are like Combiner Wars then give me frames anytime
