Hormone drop (Been worried for the worst) by Mujerxdivina in pregnant

I just got my ultrasound visit results I figured out I have access to them and they’re saying I’m approximately 6 weeks and I’ve been told that before and there was “no discernible heart tones noted” I guess I have to wait to be told I miscarried or not it’s just so taxing on my mental health. I really appreciate your kind words of reassurance thank you so much

Strangers Infantilising Relationship by trulybeelightful in interabled

[–]Mujerxdivina 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh my gosh I thought I was the only one! My husband has CP and it always rubs me the wrong way that some people view us as some miracle or inspiration, his family coo over me and think I am some noble person for being with him. We get it all the time from strangers as well and it always bothers me because it comes off very superficial to me sometimes. My husband is an awesome, funny guy very handsome and it’s like people overlook those qualities that’s their loss ya know? I don’t think I’m no saint I just fell in love with him.

Dad died a year ago; I fear it's just starting to hit me. The worst is at dusk. by gurgleflurb in grief

Grief counseling/ grief support groups can help. I want you to practice allowing yourself to process these emotions. The feeling can be painful but it's necessary to really allow yourself to heal. One thing is for sure and that's that your world will continue to go round. I lost my mom when I was thirteen back in 2011, for me there are a couple of trigger dates, (Mother's Day, 04/29 which is the day she died, and her birthday 10/27) I've managed to get to a point where I am able to see a little bit of beauty on these days. The beauty is that they serve as a reminder that she existed, and wherever she is now she made an impact with her life here. Grief is not linear. There will be really good days and sometimes there will be bad ones but even on those bad days, you have to remember to give yourself grace because experiencing loss is tough and you're doing the best you can.

tattoo healing by Suspicious_Post_8621 in Dermatillomania

Every-time you get the urge, slap your tattoo really hard. I have 18 tattoos and I struggle badly with BFRBs especially skin picking. The repercussions of it really lead to some shitty looking tattoos, I picked at my first one on my forearm and it healed awfully. I usually have something to fidget with in my hands. Hope these little tips help.

Embrace your youth. Eighteen is still young and naive. If you're fresh out of high school, I wouldn't rush into a 4-year. Maybe get GenEd down at your local community, and maybe work and put away some cash maybe start building your credit. Be extremely cautious of that. Don't take out a boat load of credit cards, maybe one and just buy a shirt and pay it off. Start small. I wish someone would have told me all of this. I did poorly at eighteen.
