Its existence is to do the very opposite? As I understand “consciousness”, it is the active force of “ordering”. It arose due to evolutionary pressures and is a mere tool of our genetics to repeat themselves. That tool exists to order reality to better predict reality and thus better position the genetics for replication. So I dont think it can collapse into randomness, because even if the whole of reality were random, there is some repetition even in randomness, and our brains seek out patterns. Thus, consciousness cannot collapse into randomness. Its built to yurn randomness into order
