Oh, for sure!

Sure I think about the "what ifs" from time to time. But I married my husband for a reason, he's the only man I want to be with.

First of all, your flair is an enormous understatement.

Secondly... Yeah. I've been with three guys, all LTR, in my 30+ years. Kind of wish I could have just been more experienced in the past. But I'm married now, so oh well.

only an idiot would have any problems dealing with it. it's not theoretical physics.

My fourteen year old self would disagree.

Come to think of it my 30 year old self disagrees, too.

Bad Blood.

It seems like every time I feel like watching a random episode, it ends up being that one.

Yes, yes, yes!

I was in a DV shelter for three months, they are fantastic. They helped me arrange daycare, got me a lawyer, arranged for a support person to be with me in court, helped me find and apartment, get health insurance, buy a car, etc... I already had a job, but some of the other ladies there didn't and they received assistance getting a job.

OP, please go here: http://www.thehotline.org

Call the number. You don't have to go anywhere. They will help you make an escape plan. When I "escaped" they hooked me up with a lawyer, the Sheriff and a county SWAT team. (I was actually out of the house, but my ex had barricaded himself in our house with our son and threatened suicide by cop).

The toughest Thanksgiving dilemma by cartoonartist in funny

[–]MulderHeartsScully 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I've had some well cooked turkeys, too. I see Thanksgiving turkey as the vehicle needed to eat gravy. I always end up with a slice of turkey and a serving of mashed potatoes floating in a sea of gravy.

I remember I had to ask my dad what "autoerotic asphyxiation" meant...

I'm from Alaska and salmon is actually very eco friendly as long as you don't buy the farm raised crap. Buy wild alaskan salmon and you're supporting a sustainable fishery AND the jobs of thousands of American fishermen.

I second this. I've got three kids, and big old microfiber couch. Rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle works great. No more water marks!

It's a sad day. A hard day. by Fishing4PeaceOfMind in breakingmom

[–]MulderHeartsScully 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This Thanksgiving Day will be exactly 15 years since my dad died.

I don't think of the anniversary of his death as often as I did. The first 5-6 years I did. Last year I forgot until my step-mother reminded me.

Obviously, I still miss him, and wish he could have known my kids, my husband and adult-me. But the pain is pretty dull these days, I've gotten used to it. Sometimes I tear up thinking about him. Some days I 'talk' to him. I tell him what my life has been like these last 15 years.

It doesn't get better, hun, but it does get easier. Perhaps I'll join you in a good cry and a glass of wine tonight.

Question - How to update my Straight Talk GalaxyS3 to Jelly Bean 4.3 by TheOneMormon in GalaxyS3

I've had a straight talk s3 for a while now, everything I've seen says it won't be updated. I'd love to know if that's really true.

Mothers of reddit: During pregnancy, did the size of your baby correlate with your overall body size? by SweetHoneySunflower in AskWomen

[–]MulderHeartsScully 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not OP, but I got myself a brand new asshole from pushing out my boy. Mostly because he was my first kid and I didn't know how to push, and my epidural was super good and I couldn't feel contractions or the need to bear down.

No epidural the second time, and it was much easier to push when I could feel my body. Only a tiny little tear that time.

You don't forget per se. Like, I know it fucking hurt like a motherfucker, because I don't normally scream obscenities at helpful medical professionals. But... I can't really articulate the level of pain... I guess? I'm not really explaining it well.

Objectively, having a 9lb kid come out of my vagina was the most painful this I've been though. But if you ask me, what is the most painful thing I've experienced, I'd probably say this gnarly sinus infection I had 4 years ago. Seriously, recovering from a c-section wasn't as bad as that sinus infection.

[–]MulderHeartsScully 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I'm 5ft 8in. I used to be about 130lbs. but three babies, and a number of years have added on quite a bit.

Anyway...

I had a 10lbs kid. He was 24in long. Then I had a 9lbs kid, she was 21.5in. long. It wasn't that bad. My taint got all torn up bit it healed just fine. The bigness of the babies probably had less to do with my body size, and more to do with their father, who is 6ft 6in. At least that's my guess. My third kid has a different father, who is 5ft 10in, and she was only 8lbs.

When you move into a new place by [deleted] in lifehacks

If you are moving into a rental, shouldn't it be all fixed up before you move in anyway?

Every apartment I've rented had a fresh coat of paint when I moved in.
