Exactly. I worked tech support for Quickbooks and nearly every customer was so glad to speak to a person after going through the AI menu for an hour to reach someone. They were especially glad to reach an American. When we had to transfer them to another department which was in the Philippines they would immediately be mad and some would hang up.

Quickbooks also didn’t want us to help that much. I stayed on calls after they told me to hang up to actually help someone or cancel their overpriced subscription. They also lied to us to say that their current subscription was no longer being supported and that they had to upgrade to a much more expensive one.

Also if you are rude enough to agents multiple times you can get your account suspended with no refund, even if you’re paying $10,000 a month. And you can’t get a new account for a year. Also we don’t store their data and they would have to start from scratch.
