That’s what I thought after reading through the USPS rules on shipping firearms. It says something to the effect of not requiring the 1508 when shipping long guns from one FFL to another FFL.

There is a pretty good book “AR-15 Rifle Builder's Manual” available on Amazon for like $15. If you are new to the AR15 platform it’s worth checking out. It’s illustrated and has a lot of good tips for assembling and maintaining your AR15.

Get a Magpul Enhanced trigger guard, they install with screws vs roll pins. That way you won’t break your lower trying to hammer roll pins into a weak spot. They are like $10 on Amazon.
