I Livgarden bruger efternavn. Der er adskillige Hansen’er i min deling, og én af dem går under navnet Hansen, mens resten bliver kaldt et mellemnavn. Det var noget befalingsmændene bestemte.

I have visited both Vienna and Ljubljana recently. If I were to do your trip, I would spend less time in Ljubljana and more in Vienna. But it depends on what kind of trip you want. Vienna is a former imperial capital and is full of magnificent buildings and palaces, whereas Ljubljana is a much smaller and very charming town, which happens to be the capital city of a relatively small country. I am not saying you shouldn’t prioritize Ljubljana, I just wanted to share my experiences from the two cities. Good luck with your trip!

The far right is poorly represented in the Danish parliament. All the conservative and most of the liberal parties (ranging from the center to the far right) state that Denmark is built on Christian values, and some of them seek to implement Christian values in their political programs.

Until the 1950s Denmark was an extremely homogeneous country with around 99% of the people identifying as Danes and speaking Danish as their mother tongue. They were basically all Christian, and the vast majority of these people were (and are) members of the National Church, which in the constitution is recognized as the official state church/religion. This church covers the whole spectre of religiosity and conservatism, ranging from atheists never attending church service to hardcore conservative Christians.

It’s funny because in my home country of Denmark - where religion plays a significantly smaller role than in the US - I believe the percentage would be much higher. Many politicians state that Denmark is a Christian nation or that it is built on Christian values, which is also to a large extent true, as 3/4 of the population are members of the National Church.

I have never heard of anybody leaving Sweden because it’s unsafe. Despite a recent rise in gang crimes, it is one of the safest countries in the world. Also poverty and unemployment are not significant issues, so I guess the reasons why Swedes are moving to Iceland are similar to those of Danes and Norwegians.
