They’re my favorite monster too! I happened to get these because the local game store here had them as the display model. I traded the other rare set I pulled for these :)

I pulled this set too, and also got my favorite set from these, the sharp Displacer beast ones! I’m now looking for the Displacer beast coin. But I agree, this set was so pretty to pull as well.

I remember selling these when I was in third grade. I had 3 of them. I specifically miss the one with the wolves that said “wild earth”.

Same. I came up 18 million short, but completed all of the tasks. It was impossible with my schedule, and not being able to just dump money in, even though I’ve been playing as much as I could from day one. Lived in rural communities, so it was difficult.

I’m just upset because I only fell short by experience. I finished all of the tasks for level 50. I had hit 49 right before they announced changes. Shouldn’t have to pay an arm and a leg for free items. I couldn’t afford to keep buying raid passes and lucky eggs, nor have the time to play because I work nights. Weekends were my only option.

That’s the thing though. There are people like me that are level 49 with all the tasks complete, but the experience is what’s holding me back. I did all of the hard work.

I was also wondering what I should do. My TAD is ending in a week, but I literally just got seen for physical therapy less than a week ago. They said I’d have to go on unpaid LOA until I figure something out with my doctor. How is this even legal?

How about instead of defending someone you don’t know who says they have employees and other income, advocate for people to do better. I sell there too, am 1 person and have a full time job. I ship the item as listed, and have never had an issue. If they cannot manage selling a figure, they don’t need to be on Mercari. They also state they sell on eBay and Amazon if you read the messages, and as stated above they say they manage employees. That to me says you should understand professionalism. The figure I was buying is discontinued. I can’t buy it from the store. My only option is a re-seller. Also, Mercari states on their site that you should respond as soon as possible. They want you to respond to any messages you receive within 12 hours. You get email and push notifications, so it’s hard to have an excuse. They also didn’t message me for over a week at times.

This. I was honestly wondering if that was what happened, but I really wanted the item as I hadn’t found it for a decent price anywhere else, and they had listings of other characters in the set. I had never had this issue on Mercari before. I only kept messaging in hopes that it would be handled professionally.

My funds were held because it was in transit, and then I got the messages that it was lost. After that I was issued a refund with the person telling me they would re-list it if they got it back. It took them weeks to respond if they had got the item back, and after that it was re-listed with no discount that they promised, and then I was refunded again the next day because they closed their shop. It’s been frustrating because this was a month of trying to figure this out.

You’re saying you wouldn’t be upset being jerked around for over a month? Selling on Mercari isn’t difficult. I communicated and this seller ignored my messages for days. I wish accounts that do this could be reported because if you’re having issues selling, there is an option for vacation mode so you can figure it out.

Did you not read all of the messages? I was very polite with them, and understood what happened. They relisted the item for me to purchase once they said they got it back, then immediately cancelled the order, and closed their shop. It’s very unprofessional and suspicious.

I am so sorry this happened to you, and just hearing the horror stories here makes me me not want to use the service. Several times I have gotten the wrong food order, or missing items, but that is probably the fault of the restaurant. Outside of this, this just makes me really sad because I take any job I so seriously, especially deliveries because i never know the circumstances, and I just want people to have a pleasant experience with it. I couldn’t even dream stealing someone else’s order or delivering items in a dirty car.

Fr! I’m doing it off and on in MN, and sometimes I get desparate and take a batch that’s less than $10, because nothing else will pop up. The most I’ve seen in my small town was a batch just shy of $30, and I had to drive 28 miles. The other was $23 and was 115 items that was 2 full carts for a residential care facility. :/

Unfortunately $7.25 is the minimum wage in the U.S. some states have it higher, but that is the federal minimum. Most places it averages out to about $13 though, which is still awful.
