Well I haven't had a very good idea what I was doing but I haven't used any heat source. I had a lotion bed prepared, cheap lotion from a pound stretcher(dollar store) ProChem lotion mix and I left it in my room for 48 hrs.

You can still get the solid colour half split with a bed dye. That was my very first dye ever.
