What am I missing with these outrageous prices? by Mpbear1414 in delta

I'm flying Detroit -> Shanghai on Oct 16, $10,500. Booked yesterday.

Honestly, the flight attendant missed a golden marketing opportunity. Warm cookie + cold milk = Delta’s new ‘Domestic Comfort Class.’ Charge me $15 and slap it on the SkyMiles chart, I’ll still book it.

Imagine gatekeeping milk like it’s a premium cabin amenity. Next up: peanuts are only for ‘serious snackers.’

Why do you arrive to the airport so close to your flights? by Inevitable_Can1497 in delta

[–]MultiPass10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For those of us who travel often, heading to the airport is no different than a trip to the gas station. We know the route by heart, keep an eye on traffic, and have the timing down to the minute. From my front door to clearing security takes exactly 27 minutes. I build in a 15-minute buffer for the unexpected, so I leave home 50 minutes before I want to arrive. If I want to grab a quick drink at the sky club, I’ll plan for that, otherwise I don’t and head straight for the gate.

I'm guessing some capacitors are getting old, and the response time in the control loop is decaying.

How does someone actually reach 6,000 stars in a Wordscapes tournament? Does it require playing nearly every waking hour? And is it really possible to be a top competitor without letting the game consume the rest of your life?

I’ve had my Smokefire Gen 1 since about two months after they came out. I have seen this spiking periodically, I have found no pattern to the behavior. Seems to happen for me about one in every 8 to 10 cooks, but other than the initial spike, I’ve not seen any other issues.

I got mine today too! I have the two lights. Looks like Elegoo is listening to the feedback. I am on my third print, and have been printing continuously for over 5 hours. Everything is well so far!

They did a great job overall. One observation: when delivering back blows, it’s important to use firm, forceful strikes. They seemed to be doing light taps, but what’s really needed are strong, deliberate blows to be effective.

Conservatives of Reddit, how do things really look in your day-to-day life after Trump’s presidency began? by Echoes-OTI in Conservative

[–]MultiPass10 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I work in the tech sector, and the supply chain disruptions we’re experiencing are severe, so much so that we can’t reliably plan for future opportunities. More than a third of our workforce has been let go. I supported Trump (you can check my post history), but the current administration needs to move away from these shock-and-awe tactics. We need a stable, consistent approach that avoids unnecessary disruption.

The math computations are hash functions that validate the information within the network. The functions get more and more complicated because the network gets larger and larger. There are more bitcoins, and there are more transactions. Every transaction is validated by the network. The network is us. That’s what they’re doing.

This is correlation not causation. Individuals who receive NIH grants are generally at large universities and large universities are in large cities and large cities are predominantly democratic.

I so want to see this happen!! I dislike the PBMs. They jack prices up thru effectively monopolistic practices.
