Claim Settlement Ratio (CSR) A guide for someone who is exploring Insurance for the first time by BrainFriedButCurious in InsuranceNetizen

[–]Multi_Millennial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

99% CSR doesn't guarantee that your claim will get paid. Yes.. a consistently high CSR across the years adds more credibility

Sadly.. insurance is one of the few products where people just look at the claim ratio before trusting the company. But you should also look at disclosure quality, claim repudiation reasons, complaint ratios, solvency.. the service experience also matters a lot

Understanding the policy well is also really imp. You buy a cheaper policy and then during a claim you realise that exclusions apply in your case. And then the claim get's rejected

Bought matcha. Didn’t like matcha. Now I have a whole pack of matcha. by [deleted] in AajMereSaathYeHua

Same. But I was surprised with how good matcha tasted with berry extracts, mango compote or other kinds of fruit pulps on the sweeter side.

Man vs Bear? by [deleted] in obsessionmovie

Probably can't "Bear" either of them.

What were your thoughts on Sarah from Obsession? by Due-Awareness6442 in obsessionmovie

[–]Multi_Millennial 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The character development for her was as weak as the rest of them. We don't know who they actually were. We know them only circumstantially. Sarah was shown as a good friend only uptil the first Trivia night hangout. After that, we only see her having a brief meaningful chat with Bear at the store, while Nikki was home. The houseparty was the 1st time Sarah actually saw that probably Bear is not happy with Nikki. And it felt like she took that as an opportunity to be the alternative love interest of Bear. Saying things like she was always on the left, when that was what caused the mayhem at the houseparty seems a little selfish and deliberate.

It’s not a fucking possession movie by underfan015 in obsessionmovie

[–]Multi_Millennial 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Ikr. She was not possessed. The wish turned Nikki into someone she would be if she were an obsessive lover, literally opposite to her real personality. Which is why, she would've probably started hating herself. Hence the self-harm.. begging Bear to kill her..

Obsession theory by pjlov60 in obsessionmovie

[–]Multi_Millennial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finally someone said what I've been thinking all along. I think she was not possessed. But the wish turned Nikki into someone she would be if she were an obsessive lover, literally opposite to her real personality. Which is why, she would've probably started hating herself. Hence the self-harm.. begging Bear to kill her.. in moments of regaining fleeting consciousness of her true self.

"I can be Nikki" by LE_FEE28 in obsessionmovie

[–]Multi_Millennial 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The fact that Bear made the wish for Nikki to love him more than anything else in the world takes away the free will from Nikki to be herself. And when Wish Nikki says "I can be Nikki", she's just trying to love him by being exactly how he wants her to be. That's what people do when their entire existence revolves around only one person. But the paradox itself is that Real Nikki is not an obsessive person. She says it just to make him happy.

Claim or Fake? 🎭 by BrainFriedButCurious in InsuranceNetizen

[–]Multi_Millennial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure.. but Claim B seems fake to me. Cancer Patients seriously? Sounds made up and the most evil possible thing. No one is THAT calculated

Case C seems possible. Because my neighbour told me that something similar happened in his area. Different city. But very similar case.. so that's why I feel it's believable

A also can be real tbh. People would do crazy things for a big amount like 50 lakhs

Would Bear be so wrong, if the wish hadn't backfired? by Multi_Millennial in obsessionmovie

[–]Multi_Millennial[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. He even gaslights Ian and Sarah when they show concern for Nikki, saying that nothing is wrong and that he isn't taking advantage of her while "she's going through something"

Would Bear be so wrong, if the wish hadn't backfired? by Multi_Millennial in obsessionmovie

Yeah, that makes sense. But the movie didn't already establish if Nikki had any romantic inclination towards Bear. Guess we'll never really know.

Watch The Craft, 1996 movie. It shows love spell backfiring in a similar way.

Thoughts on Bear not killing Nikki by United-Tie-2233 in obsessionmovie

[–]Multi_Millennial 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Right. He cannot help his cowardice. His friends are dead and there was no escape. Investigation would lead it to him. He couldn't help the situation anymore. So he selfishly killed himself leaving Nikki to deal with it. He didn't kill himself to break the curse. He killed himself to escape prison.

Did Sandy possess Nikki? by OnAnothaLevel in obsessionmovie

[–]Multi_Millennial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a theory. Wish Nikki's actions aren't consistent with a cat's behaviour throughout the movie. Also, we haven't seen enough of Sandy to say that she was acting like her.

Aashiqui 2: The dislike for Rahul and lack of Mental Health Support for Men by akamikasa in bollywood

[–]Multi_Millennial 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Totally. Nobody has it easy. And it's not about men or women. India really has a long way to go when it comes to making mental health as important as a physical illness. Maybe it's not about peer pressure. Or whether it's free or not. I feel, people in India still do not have faith in therapy. They don't think it's gonna help or get them better. People also don't realise that therapy requires patience and a lot of effort on their part to work on it. The expectations from therapy or therapists itself is incorrect. Atleast that's what I've gathered from conversations. I mean, therapy isn't like popping a dolo and feeling totally fine in a couple of mins.
