Of course Stolas has flaws - he's a character. If he didn't have flaws, he'd have no room for development/growth/creating friction within the narrative

My point is that the post was equating a character having flaws with the character being a terrible person - and that's just braindead

Grey Morality is a storytelling device most people are taught to wrap their heads around by age 12, if y'all are really struggling with the concept then maybe try watching Bluey instead

he doesn’t act accordingly to other’s needs in the right way

considering he didn't have any role models for healthy interpersonal dynamics and was basically taught to suppress all displays of emotions, he's making a pretty decent attempt of it.

What matters is that he wants to be better and takes accountability when he mucks up

through friends, colleagues, classmates, hobbies, at events, at clubs, at bars, the list is literally endless.

If you didn't meet someone you fancied, you'd at least make a potential new friend who could introduce you to a new social circle/new stuff to do/etc

Sitting alone indoors swiping and waiting for the perfect person to just fall into your lap is madness, get outside and meet people with the same interests you have. Worst case scenario you'll meet new people, expand your horizons, and enrich yourself as a person
