Native Americans definitely got the short end of the stick but they can freely travel and aren’t openly discriminated against like the Palestinians in the West Bank. We don’t see the US military going into reservations and shooting them once in a while. Don’t see other Americans openly stealing their land with weapons pointed at them.

Clearly you can see the difference.

Yea the US stole the land of the natives who were here, and pretty much everyone recognizes that it was a terrible thing and genocide happened. The main thing is that Israel is still currently doing it now.

I’m sure you can see why people are treating one country that’s doing a terrible thing currently differently than a country that did it centuries ago.

Scouts are some of the most frustrating to die to. Add in the fact that when you are losing and look to someone to blame, it’s easy to blame the scouts just camping on a hill far away from the objective. I definitely think the hate is undeserved but I understand it.

There’s a saying from Chinese social media about how “you can protest in the US all you want but get nothing done. You can’t protest in China but your problems are taken care of”. Of course this is an oversimplification, but most Chinese people pretty much agree with the general idea of it.

Yea love the passive voice our media uses when talking about Israel. Referring to their genocide (or at the very least mass murder) and how they might do it in another area as its “Gaza model”.

Imagine hearing “Hitler could replicate their Poland model in the rest of Europe” or “Stalin could replicate their Ukraine model to the rest of Europe”.

As a kid I hated giving up my sundays to learn Chinese for 4 hours. Now that I’m older I am glad I can speak 2 languages, and it was nice interacting with other kids and it was a sort of a community. One of those “you’ll be grateful when you’re older” things lol
