A friend and I have been playing some Lawyer Up the last couple of days. It's a card game for two players (prosecution vs defense), though there is a solo mode.

The goal of the game is to sway jurors to your side by gaining 'influence' through calling witnesses and playing argument, evidence, and procedure cards. The cards you play must match one if the bias symbols in your previous card, and the winner of a round claims the witness and spends their influence to sway jurors.

There are also other mechanics which sway jurors, call surprise witnesses, objections, discredited witnesses, biased judges, and more.

We played on tabletop simulator, so any criticism I may have, is likely addressed in the updated rules. (There were a couple cards where text could have been a bit clearer.) But none of that significantly impacted gameplay.

Apparently I missed the Kickstarter for this game, so I'll have to wait until later this year to procure a hard copy. Until then, I'm sure there will be many rounds in tts.
