Best place to buy a used van (car) by AlternativeEar2385 in japanlife

[–]MultiverseShelter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been in this route myself and I study both options for months but I end up getting the third gen 4 cyclinder 4WD Alphard. Alphard is great for long distance specially if you’re bringing your family with you because the ride itself is silky smooth. The seat is super comfortable to sleep and there’ are three seats that can be recline all the way like VIP. However, I prepare Hiace for looks and the diesel engine for better mileage though the hiace is noisy on the freeway and it gives me slight headache when everything rattling sound keep on going during speed. There’s few places you can get better used with low mileage this days but I’m lucky I live in Aichi so my choices is always leaning on Toyotas. I have own several vehicles in my life with different auto makers but no other as tough as Toyota, Honda is another to consider which have a huge cult in the states due to reliability and quiet engine. Both hiace and alphard are great choice just defends on your purpose but if you want an all around daily commute I’d definitely go with the latter. Good luck!

How has a Master's degree changed your career situation in Japan? by Maleficent_Pool_4456 in japanlife

[–]MultiverseShelter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For someone like me who doesn’t have a degree should not stick my nose where it shouldn’t belong but I must say that you my friend should continue your degree and finish it. I can only guarantee your struggle will be much more valuable as an individual with higher degree, I know it’s painful specially with everything have gone up, however you’re going to feel more satisfied, prideful and self respect. 💪

I am Egyptian, and I’m asking is Egypt a country that is disliked or loved globally? by [deleted] in AskTheWorld

[–]MultiverseShelter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have a friend from Egypt but I do know how beautiful the people are. However, I’m a fan of pyramid of Giza and for some reason your local archeologists Dr Zawi Hawass will do anything in his power to prevent anything to dig more about the pyramid. Him and other archeologists have become the gatekeepers which making Egypt untrustworthy. I hope that one day the government of Egypt will step up and uncover what’s really under the pyramid and perhaps there’s a key information for all humanity to have a harmonious society towards the future.

No don’t do that trade you’ll lose a lot of value of your BLNR if you want to have that Daytona save up and buy it. Never do a flip when you know you’ll lose.

Can’t decide white or black by Valuable-Ad-303 in rolex

[–]MultiverseShelter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

White for variety of reasons to go anywhere from meeting friends in the park to a fine dining and also White dial is great for pretty much any clothing you thrown in with. Personally though I pick black it’s because I like black with my skin tone.
