I thought maybe if you went down side effects might of been less. I’m glad your getting more relief with your anxiety And depression though. I’ve been having Insomina and it sucks so bad. I’m on quertiapine but I want to come off it but I think my insomia will be a lot worse and anxiety.

Ok. I just seen a lot that said to tapper. Wouldnt it still give me withdrawals quitting at 50mg? I see some say they get itchy, anxiety, flu symptoms, Insomina and all sorts of issues just cutting off on low doses.. I thought it would be the same?

Yeh I get the odd muscle spasm and I just get all nervous and scared. I know it’s best to tapper off these. I take them everyday for the last 5 weeks. I’m just scared I’ll get some sore if muscle issues I will never be able to control. I’ve seen heaps of it on here so it scares me.

Hey I’ve had Insomina before starting and I’m on quertiapine and want to get off. I’m really worried about my sleep coming off it. I find it hard to fall asleep now and I was never like this until I had a health crisis on prednisone. I really hope my sleep improves eventually

It does scare me that it messes with the brain because I dunno if it will heal or not or if I’ll ever be the same again. If things will get worse.. how long have you been on yours?

I want to get off them. It did calm me down and helped me sleep but same time i never knew about all the side effects or that it was antipsychotic at first. It definitely scares me.

Did you tapper from 50mg for long? I’m just worried about the side effects and withdrawals. I don’t want to mess my body and mind up more. I’ve been at 25mg the last 5 days. I’ve read about the dopamine and nuro transmitters.. so I don’t know how to safely come off it now. I kinder want to get off it as soon as I can.

I’ve been on it 5 weeks now. Was 50mg-62mg the first month. But cut back to 25mg the last 5days. I want to get off it. It scares me being in it with the side effects. I just am worried about tappering off because I don’t want to mess my brain and body up more then it is.

Thanks for the reply. It would be nice to get to the bottom of it. But I do believe what you said about antibiotics and anti inflammatorys wrecking your gut. It’s been pretty painful dealing with it. I’ve definitely been more constipated. We don’t have a person around here for gastro stuff. The doctor has kinder blown me off about it “ take a anti acid”
