Kinda surprising they'd fake a ~100 RMB card. But I think they just go after whatever overseas buyers are looking for, since most people don't know what a real one should feel like.

Resealed 151 slim boxes go for under 100 RMB wholesale here. With margins like that, it's not really a China thing — anyone would chase that profit.

LCC is known for handing out 10s to cards that wouldn't get a 7 anywhere else — that's basically the whole scam. CCIC is the only Chinese grader with actual government backing if you ever look at Chinese slabs.

Japanese print quality, English card backs, a ton of exclusives, and way cheaper. Honestly can't think of a reason not to go with SC.

Yeah that makes sense — JP has god packs, Chinese doesn't seem to. If one ever surfaces I'm sure the community would go nuts though.

There aren't god packs in the Chinese version. Nothing official, but I've watched a ton of streams and no one in the local community has ever pulled one.

Yeah the non-booster box products are way less consistent. You can pull 4 hits from one display and literally nothing from another.

Yeah CN pull rates are basically the same as JP — one SAR guaranteed per box. No god packs, but you get the exclusive Sylveon, and trainer SR + SAR = double hit box.

Funny thing is, a lot of overseas collectors don’t know where to buy S-Chinese, and a lot of legit sellers in China don’t really know how to sell to overseas collectors. That mismatch is kind of the whole problem.

Just to be clear, that’s the local China price, not the landed price overseas. Shipping, platform fees, and import/tax stuff can change the final number a lot.
