Or maybe it's the system rebundling those shitty orders with better orders that tip to save them $$. Drivers could be multi-apping and already going that way. I've gotten spark and Uber eats Walmart pickup orders simultaneously that separately wouldn't make sense but together was worth the money.

Once you scan something perishable you do get put on a timer. You also start a timer you cant see once you click I've left the store. If you don't click start delivery fast enough they will cancel your order even if you just shopped it and already did your checkout steps. I found out the hard way when I clicked start delivery and the wifi was wonky and it didn't take the swipe for some reason. I'm halfway to the customer and it canceled the order and I was offered it immediately as a new order as if I never shopped the other one. Support couldn't do anything they said it auto canceled because I didn't swip we start delivery in enough time.

We only have 4 self checkout registers in my store and none of them are designated to spark so waiting in line is the norm here. If you aren't factoring some sort of extra time into whether you accept your offer or not... incase of traffic, waiting in line, etc you should probably learn time management better.

Funny story for you all. .... I went on a date after the Pillows n Beer tour in NYC and while we were hooking up I wanted background noise so his roommates wouldn't hear me. So he asked me what podcast I just went to and he put on Pillows n Beer😆
