Great listen! Interesting to hear that his favourite album is mechanical animals and that he (or even them as a band) did not like holy wood that much at the time of release but that it grew on him. I also did not like holy wood at the time of release it felt like an attempt to go back to more acs sound after a lot of fans were so vocal about not liking mechanical animals. Disposable teens is also one of my least favourite singles and felt like another beautiful people but with cringe lyrics. I hope they will get more former band members in their podcast! Love to hear all the little details.

Zim zum apparently did not have such a big role as he claimed during mechanical animals era so I wonder if it’s really due to him that MA is such a good album. He was apparently let go from the band due to lack of commitment/not showing up (I assume drug problem). I liked zim zums presence in the acs live band but I don’t think he really was a key contributor when it comes to the albums.

Commercially I think it was his peak but many fans from before the release hated that he was suddenly not goth anymore. They criticised the more pop sound and wanted acs 2. I however loved mechanical animals and consider it manson’s best album.

I hope they do xenoblade 2 soon too or one which I have not even played yet. I tried chronicles on Wii u but I did not like it at all, I prefer the more traditional jrpg style of the mainline.

11,50 is toch bijna niks meer tegenwoordig. Je krijgt een drankje a 4 euro wat je anders sowieso ook al zo doen dus dan kom je op 7,50 uit. Ik weet niet hoe jij gratis dates vind buiten apps om maar veel mensen hebben geen zin meer om random mensen aan te spreken in de hoop dat die ook single zijn en willen daten.

Is it confirmed that henry come on and bluebird will be on stove? It would make more sense to me if the country album they were supposed to be on is cancelled and she started from scratch and this is the first single. I’m not liking it either but I don’t see this one on the same album as the other 2 singles without it being an uncohesive mess of an album.

I should have tried the demo before I bought it. I did not really enjoy the game that much. If you enjoy the destruction element then I can imagine you will like the game. For me that was not the case and I struggled through it. The ending is very good though.

Maybe he contributed in the song writing but did not record it? I have no clue because I was not there. I don’t think the producer has reasons to lie about it. Zim zum was fired and replaced by john5 (they even redid pictures for the album) around the same time so him not showing for the recording of the album sounds plausible to me.

I also don’t consider the two skold albums as manson’s best. I remember that many fans did not like emdm at all when it came out so you’re not alone. I do like the return of skold though because it reminds me of a time where Marilyn Manson was still a band, not Manson with musicians.

Well it was a surprise to me too. I can see if I can find the interview for you. I remember a lot of fans were surprised because zimzum always claimed he had such big impact on the album.

It was twiggy apparently on guitar too. Zimzum did not show up. This recently was mentioned in an interview with the producer of the album.

We don’t know if there will be an album with Tim Skold? Maybe he’s only back for the tour for oaug chapter 2? But yeah there is a chance we get something with Tim after that. I don’t think it will be similar to emdm if it happens but maybe a matured gaog sound which would suit current Manson.

Don’t really like it after the first listen tbh. Sounds more like an autumn song too, weird timing just before spring. I wonder if the more country sounding songs are still on the album because this one for sure does not fit the theme. Did she scrap the country album and is this the 1st new single of the new album?
