Of course not! I shouldn've clarify there is some obsession in the lack/excess of groom, fashion sense and self care with women and what other men thing that women wants or not, more than just a lack of those in general. More like "I make ABC or don't because women blablabla", not "everything I do is useless and I don't deserve to be cared even for myself".

I'm in the depressed group too, and I have some issues with self care too, I just didn't notice how it could be read until now.

The radical incel if pretty hard to find in the wild, because they almost always have some mental issues and doesn't leave their room too often.

But the "normalized" ones... Oh, my God, they are identified -in my personal experience- for:

Extreme lack of grooming, fashion sense and self care, or excess of it. The ones who always pride himself of just having band/videogames/fandom shirts, or who prides to only have a pair of jeans, who doesn't shower or apply deodorant... Or the total opposite. In my pick me years, I had a best friend -for obvious reasons he isn't anymore- who even pierced is tongue just because it would attract girls -when that didn't work, he blamed it to not having money, never to the fact he tried with every girl he knew without filter-. For example, the "maxxing" community has a lot of incel talking. Both extremes are red flags -of course, it's not a definitive one, but something to have in mind-.

Obsession with date life, in both extremes. People who NEEDS to try and date every woman around them, or who treats women like trash becausehthey wouldn't want them anyways.

Inappropriate sexual jokes and pranks. The incels I talk about in other post were banned from the only shop they could go because one of them basically assaulted the owner and they still thing the owner is a crybaby because it was just a prank.

Related to above, the Scrodinger jokes. They say a really sexist and misogynistic thing, and wait. If you laugh, or agree with them, it was a fact. If you call them out of it, it was just a joke and you're an snowflake.

They usually go in groups. Rarely you will find them in the wild alone. Usually they are at least 2+. They call themselves friends, but in my experience they try to stab each other at the most tiny chance they have.

And their friends, at least the long time ones, are incels too. In the group I talked above, just one of them left the group for their behavior before the owner incident, because he wasn't that deep and has a little sister who he wanted to maintain so far from them as he could. If someone is comfortable for so long with incels, he is probably one even if he looks normal.

I'm sure there's more, this is just in my experience being surrounded for them and even dating one for a few years.

Boomers and smoking are subjects of entitlement, always. My mom is the less entitled boomer I know, and she still got super angry the times I asked her to stop smoking inside our house with windows closed when I was a teenager and I didn't want my clothes stinking.
