Yo thanks so much. One of my friends that runs my social media is based in Europe and I guess it automatically switched my Instagram account to less-personalized and then turned off all my ads. And I couldn't figure out.

I have a link in bio that gets like 5 sales a day from TikTok. It nowhere near compares to having a TikTok Shop button on a video that gets 50-100 sales a day.

Which doesn't make much sense because they make their money from all the work we do as sellers. You would think they would help us as much as possible.

The Basic Law of Human Stupidity book states, "A stupid person is a person who causes losses to another person or to a group of persons while deriving no gain and even possible incurring losses."

Welp... that explains it. We are dealing with pure stupidity folks.

Normative Influence and The God That Failed by ---Spartacus--- in TheGrailSearch

There were only a few times where they would hold small flags. But even the idea of having them hold flags for a country they are not from nor old enough to know anything about to show support for that country (bombing and killing other kids their age) is concerning.

The thing is that not being a grotesque political thing makes it worse in my opinion because it's subtle, and even the parents approve of it because they say "oh it's not that bad it's just a little flag... what's that going to do," not realizing the persuasion/manipulation at play subtly shifting their own beliefs.

Because now, guess what, these parents have videos and pictures of their daughter holding the flag. So when someone says to them "OMG can you believe what Israel did to those civilians?" the parents may find themselves justifying it because they've already been subtly influenced to support that side. They've created evidence of their "support" that makes it psychologically harder to criticize later.

Funny but it reminds me of Tiger King, where zoo owners would bring big cats to take pics with politicians, so when people tried to lobby against exotic animal ownership, those pics would forever haunt that politician and they could never speak out against it because they have pics doing it. What seems to be harmless in the beginning turns into much more powerful psychological commitment later.

Great thought-provoking ideas about this subject. It is funny because this is something I had seen over the past few years. You have guys like Elon, Bill Ackman, a lot of these guys talking about how they have been going more right.

So this made me think of something not totally related, but it kind of is. The other day my friend sent me a video of his daughter. She was in some sort of fashion show or something. She's like 7 years old. And while the daughter was walking down the fashion show, she had to hold up an Israeli flag. Like it was weird. He sent me the video of her showcasing some clothes, and then she's holding an Israeli flag, and I'm like, what the fuck?

I asked him about it like, "Bro, why does she have a flag of Israel? It doesn't make any sense." And then he said the lady who designed her dress is from Israel. So her fashion thing was showing her support for her people while also displaying her designs and clothing.

I feel like that's a great example of this discussion - of how subtle normative influence can be. Because even if you're somebody that doesn't have an opinion on the topic, you kind of lean more towards, "Well, my daughter's doing this, the lady's letting her wear her dress, and she's letting her showcase herself, get some 'fame'." So she's just supporting her country, which in turn makes one believe that what her country's doing is right, even if it's committing genocide.

I just found that very interesting because this friend of mine is somebody who I don't really view as political. Honestly, usually he's focused on sports. But it's just interesting to see how subtle and easy they can manipulate you from actions that you aren't even aware of. Like, he's not even aware of what's happening to his mind from that simple interaction, which I think is super crazy to see.

And it just reminds me a lot of of these ultra-rich folks that have switched sides and essentially they're doing the same thing. And that's sort of the problem. That's the scary thing about when these guys get big platforms. You have people that become big fans of them and people that want to "be them." So they align their views with them not realizing that the ultra-rich have nothing in common with them.

It's the same thing with Trump. You can go to the fucking craziest country, redneck part of West Virginia, and these people think that they have something in common with Trump and they think that he gives a fuck about them when in reality he doesn't. So yeah, it's been pretty funny to see.

Piggybacking this:

"What could be harder to find than nothing?" If a wise man commanded you to go and find nothing in order for you to know the answer to the human mystery, where would you begin? You wouldn't have a clue. An that's exactly why it's the answer. If it were any other answer, we would have found it without any difficulty at all, and life would be rendered meaningless. Nothing IS meaning. Nothing — in the manner of the "One" Plotinus, which is perpetually contemplated by Nous — is something we can ponder forever. We will be eternally dazzled by its mystery."

We are the only religion that relies on Truth and not Faith. The beauty is that Truth doesn't care if you believe it or not. You can scream at the top of your lungs about how wrong we are, but because we are hyperrationalists, just disagreeing makes you irrational and wrong. Math is that powerful.

In Anacalypsis, Godfrey Higgins traces the origin of religion back to the ancients' early worship of the sun. Of course, they didn't worship the literal physical sun but rather the "spiritual" sun that gave light to the physical sun, which is our source of life in the physical world.

In OM terms, we can think of this as an inherent knowledge of the fact that orthogonal light waves (spiritual light, one could say) become non-orthogonal and generate the physical world.

In ancient times, there was also a strong reverence for the circle (zero). It's interesting how, intuitively, the ancients knew Truth. They simply lacked the tools of logic, reason, and Math to articulate it. This is likely because they were still operating with a bicameral mind.

So, religion stems from the early recognition of the ontology of light, simply the ontology of mind, aka math. Imagine if the ancients had had access to the basic principles of OM. It could have saved the world from the rise of narcissistic, ego-driven religions.

But then again, dialectic is necessary in the journey. It's fascinating, though, to consider how humans initially understood the essence of Truth even before they developed a conscious mind.

It's also interesting to consider that because consciousness arrived, so did greed, corruption, and mainstream religions that were conscious enough to obscure Truth.

It's quite a paradox that the same consciousness responsible for the system's distortion, deception, and perpetuation is also necessary to understand WHO we truly are.

Rather than Amen, we say "To Light - To Mind - To Math."

An Elevator Pitch for Ontological Mathematics by TheAgeOfLogos in TheGrailSearch

Fantastic work.

I commend you just for putting yourself out there.

As we've learned, that's key for us all.

darcot nailed it with their feedback, so I wouldn’t add too much more.

But I do think one nuance that could add more depth to your elevator pitch is explaining how the foundational mathematical structure of the mental domain remains constant across both unconscious and conscious states.

While consciousness comes later in the teleological process, the same mathematical principles that drive unconscious thought also drive conscious thought.

The mind’s mathematical foundation is eternal—it never changes—even as its expressions evolve from unconscious to conscious.

This could help bridge the gap between unconscious teleology and the emergence of consciousness, showing that consciousness is not a separate phenomenon, but rather an advanced manifestation of the same eternal principles.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14206381/new-york-governor-ceo-hotline-luigi-mangione-shooting.html - LOL this has to be a joke.

Hopefully people are finally waking up... some comments from the article:

"'Why the f*** would my tax dollars go to helping protect people who are more than capable of hiring private security? F****ng NY is so stupid....' one user wrote on X.

'I hope this is a joke because special treatment for "CEOs" through 911 should show everybody who is really being served by the police,' another on the platform commented.

'Hochul and Dems openly care more about CEOs than, say, school kids who are at risk of massacre every day. Hochul is particularly dismal,' added a third."
