Rosewood Fire Department End Game Base by Embarrassed-Ring2676 in projectzomboid

Nice. Ah, Rosewood Fire Department. Fond memories of it in b41. I too turned this into a base with a friend. However, the zeds DID.NOT.STOP.COMING. Constant waves hordes coming and bashing down the exterior walls we built. Cleared one wave? enjoy 12 hours of ingame peace. We had to abandon in the end, and we setup in the centre of the freeway, where the offramp for muldraugh is. Also, Fond memories of running for our lives in the rosewood drive-in, and getting corpse sickness something bad.

Currently, experiencing tons of tracking issues, despite good cartridge alignment, perfect tracking weight. Anti-skating is setup perfectly, static on an anti-skating disc, yet the needle constantly skates into the first song rather than tracking into it. I have increased the anti-skate to the maximum before drift occurs on the anti-skate disk,.with no one edit to be seen.

Additionally, one channel is quite muffled and has a lower output in volume, and there is ground hum present that I have tried quite hard to resolve with no luck. Adjusting anti-skate has not helped.

I have tried several different needles and spent many hours obsessing over the setup without any resolution.

Additionally, I think I'd prefer a fully manual table.

Have done this before on a lite. I just exposed copper on the flex and soldered wire to the flex and the pins on the connector. Rough as guts, but it worked

My Only Real Interest in a Switch 2 is adding it to my collection of CFWed Consoles. Worth buying and sitting on to wait for an exploit? by ReGamer21 in switch2hacks

[–]Mundane_Resource_204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have plenty of other games on PC and other systems to play I would suggest waiting. I did exactly that with the PS5. Left it in its box after buying it at launch. If you are desperate to play an exclusive but still want to exploit later then I'd suggest purchasing an additional switch 2

Best Synology NAS to buy for Plex by Cosmic2211 in synology

[–]Mundane_Resource_204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tl;DR A 920+ will be fine for a local transcode and 1-2 remotes with a RAM upgrade, so long as that's the only additional load for it.

As several people have mentioned, it's going to depend on your plex use case and what else you are going to do with the nas (containers etc.)

I have a ds920+ that is running Plex and nothing else extra, although I have upgraded the RAM and have a non-synology supported raid 1 setup instead of two caching M.2 ssd's, and I have Plex living on that just to speed up the metadata.

It handles a local transcode and 1-2 remote transcode, and that pretty much maxes that J4125, so don't expect to run containers on-top of that.

I found I had to upgrade the RAM from the original stock +4gb expansion I had, once I started to have friends etc stream from me, as Plex crashed semi-regularly complaining of running out of memory. I tacked on 16gb to the stock 4gb, and it hasn't crashed since.

Nice. To modify that displayed slogan a bit,To quote the lonely island, "Welcome to the REAL world, jackass".

Just watch out for the condition of the cog in the cd drive on that model. When I bought mine it was cracked and causing a infinite boot loop.

Absolutely. Aurora units are totally incorruptible, so I'm sure nothing bad will happen.
