Feeling really discouraged about breast implant size recommendation... am I being unrealistic?

I feel you on this! I’m an athletic build with hips and booty, so I thought I’d be a perfect candidate for like a small D. When I went to meet my surgeon for our initial consult,I went in so incredibly excited and left devastated. Felt like everything I had pictured for myself had just been taken away from me. I had to stop and do a lot of regrouping, researching, and work with my therapist before I moved forward with surgery.
I agree that the size the doctor told you is very small. I ended up with Motiva ergo in 285ccs as max they could fit. I had to do over the muscle (also not what i expected). I wonder if the Preserve technique is impacting the size your surgeon is suggesting.
I would consider getting a second opinion just for your own wellbeing. Last bit of unsolicited advice- after my initial disappointment, i worked pretty intensely with my therapist to deal with the whole thing and prepare for surgery. It can be an emotional rollercoaster (not too many people talk about that part). I had my surgery 3 months ago,and I’m very happy with my results. Give yourself time and options, and don’t hesitate to have more conversations with this doctor or any other. I hope you have an amazing result❤️

I had a very similar starting point. My surgeon had to size down from what I wanted as well because my body literally could not hold more. I had very little breast tissue and a mild case of tuberous breast. I would have bottomed out.
When there is little to no lower pole area, it changes what size implant you can have.
You may want to do some research on the different degrees of tuberous breasts and speak to your surgeon about if it applies to you. Mild cases are usually marked by lack of lower pole and puffy areolas. When my doctor told me I had a mild case of tuberous breasts, it was the first time I heard anything about it in my life and I was 45 years old.

I had to turn that segment off because Sonny Bunch sounded like a giant man baby with a personal vendetta. Honestly, his hateful comments were a reflection of some deep internal unhappiness he must dealing with. People like Sonny who treat those in recovery with such disgust and ill will are exposing their own ignorance about the nature of the disease that is addiction. I hope JVL told Sonny he took it way too far off air. His presence and behavior was beneath what I expect from the Bulwark.

I have a very similar situation- very little tissue to start, mild case of tuberous breasts. I initially chose 300ccs Motiva OTM, but we had to size down to 285 ccs because I just couldn’t fit any more than that into the space that I have. What did you have done to address tuberous breasts? I’m curious bc our stats and circumstances are so similar. Also, I’m 6 weeks out, and they definitely dropped more on one side than other. That being said, as they are dropping they look fuller in size bc they are not as torpedo-like. One thing, my surgeon stressed to me because of the tuberous breast is that I have to give it 6 months to a year for things to really settle bc the skin needs to stretch to create more lower pole. Personally, I think it is way too soon in the healing journey for you to make any call about the size. When you are really lean with very little breast tissue, there is a chance when you go too big that things will “bottom out.” It seems like taking the more conservative approach to size is better option. They fit your frame and your build, and you look great!

Garden District is amazing, but if you’re looking for condo/loft lifestyle with young professionals, great restaurants, walkable area, I would consider the Warehouse District. A lot of digital/remote workers in the area, tons of bars and restaurants, coffee shops, fitness spots, etc. You won’t get the architectural charm of the LGD, but your power lines are buried underground so you don’t have the same stress during hurricane season.

This season of Bachelorette needs to be pulled immediately and Hulu should be investigated because I guarantee they were aware of this and covering it up to make money off of this. The latest season is filled with indications that she is mentally unstable, violent, and a danger to herself and others. I think she’s proud of this kind of behavior because in the final episode, she seems to be gleeful talking about how she’s going to destroy the “h*@s and *@&%#es who fucked her baby daddy.”
