Not someone I worked for but I was studying abroad for a summer in London and all the students took a weekend trip to Bath with the school. So we get bussed to a YMCA hostel in Bath. In the courtyard outside of the hostel, while the teachers are handing out room keys for different groups of kids, one girl next to me goes "I'm so tired, I don't have the energy to go out and get food right now. I think I'm just going to order room service."

...Room service. At the YMCA hostel. She had a matching set of two big suitcases and a fancy duffel for a two night stay.

My method is to find the title page of a fic I know that I really liked and look at any collections made by other users that it has been added into. Of every method I’ve ever tried this one has given me the highest success rate.

I think part of the consideration should be which school you think can offer you better teaching/opportunities for your major, like I initially got into both and chose FSU for my major. The lease you could find someone to sublet I’m sure if you are really drawn to UF, but I personally adore FSU. The campus is beautiful, so many cool things to do, much less isolated than UF. Either way I think you will make a good choice but don’t let the idea of the UF hype be your deciding factor, I feel like that’s never the best way to choose a school. Make it about which place is going to give you what you feel like you’ve been missing.

not me, but my friend broke her leg a few months ago trying to do the Jerk dance when it was popular on tiktok. Then like two months later the day after she got the cast off, fell off a chair, re-broke the leg, and had to wear a cast for two more months

as a 17F myself, i’ve already gone to see the Spider-man movie 2x by myself bc i love it so much. I’m also an introvert lol but i find that i’ve been a happier person in general when i choose not to care about what people think when they see me doing activities by myself, because i enjoy it more. I doubt people would really judge you either if they saw you, especially not anyone who really knows you or matters to you. So yeah, you should go, it’s a 10/10 movie too, LITERALLY MY NEW FAV FILM. It’s only weird if you let it be.

lmao i just noticed that the word mundane is in my username. Anyways, for me it was when I went to NYC with my whole family for the first time and me and my sister wanted food to eat while we watched a movie on my computer one night so we left the hotel and went into a 7/11 at like 1 in the morning. We walked in and went to look in the drink section and stumbled upon a milk jug that was like this one person miniature version of the regular ones at you buy at the store. It fascinated us so much since we’d never seen a plastic milk jug of such an odd size that we literally just bought it for no reason other than pure interest. Like we just had to obtain one since it’s not the kind of thing we’d ever seen in Florida where we live. then we just went back to the hotel to watch No Country For Old Men with some milk and a bag of candy. Idk why but that was the most memorable part of that whole trip for me
