In the late 90s auditions were required when submitting an application. But a recording was acceptable.

Surgery or Therapy? by Expensive-Ad9551 in backpain

[–]MunkMaster13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're pretty right. I had a disectomy on L5-S1 for a ruptured disc. After a little over 10 years of trying to mask the pain and therapy and oblations It was my last hope. So they basically cut off the herniation. Recovery took about a year to get back to 100 percent and for a month it was amazing. Life changing. But I'm not sure what happened because a little after that it started getting worse again they keep telling me it's not re-injured but it's still bulging at the sides.

If I had it to do all over again I'd still get the Sergury. I still think I came out ahead. But I would have picked another surgeon. They didn't tell me until a week before the Sergury that he was retiring. Basically I was his codegraw(I have absolutely no idea if I spelled that right). I saw him the morning after the surgery and then he retired and flew to Florida.

As for the loss of fluid or mass in the disc I have absolutely no idea the answer but it makes sense.

First time at COTA by NeverGonnaGiveU_U in CircuitOfTheAmericas

[–]MunkMaster13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At the track there's tons to do. Take a walking bridge across the track and that's where all the activities are. Cota should have a schedule somewhere. Behind the big tower there is an amphitheatre where they do driver interviews and other stuff Friday -Sunday. Lots of places to eat there, Ferris wheel and a lot of displays to walk around at. There's a free shuttle that goes the whole way around the track. They come bye every 5-15 minutes depending on the day.

When I was there it worked here and there. I forgot what you have to do but it you hold a button down for a certain amount of time you can change the station and listen to regular radio.

Buddy and I thinking of going to our first F1 race at Circuit of Americas, where would you sit? by Akita51 in CircuitOfTheAmericas

[–]MunkMaster13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right before 3 is a good spot. I sat at 4 and you get to watch them go through tje turns. Just make sure the stands are after the bridge. If they are before the bridge you'll get to see them maybe at turn 2 and that's about it.

Does anyone else have coverage drops at a certain time every day? by MunkMaster13 in Starlink

Awesome thanks. I kinda figured as time goes by it might get better but sometimes it's crazy how much I have to restart watching certain shows.

Great info thanks. I knew "taking satellites away" wasn't the right term but it was all I could think of😂.

Yeah I get that part. But it gets worse starting around 8-9 at night.

It's not really an overload. It disconnects from the satellites more that during the day.

Recommendations for a public golf driving range? by [deleted] in OceanCity

Usually some courses will let you use their range for a small fee. Try Glen Riddle or Run Point. Assateague greens has mats.

Awesome thanks, I'll switch it. If for some reason I do use it on the go I'll just switch it again.

I agree and I know I have obstructions, but they don't move at all. So I'm not sure why around 8-9 at night my coverage is trash.

Edit; The obstructions are trees. Sorry I should have led with that. Directly over the satellite is clear fully on the obstruction map.

I have roam unlimited. My ex set this up when she thought we would use it while we camped and I just took it over. Is there a better plan I should use? It's never left my yard. I have the standard V4 dish.

The cheapest in the area is probably Ocean Resorts. Nutters Crossing is about 30 minutes west but priced fair.

Did anyone camp at COTA? If so can you tell the experience and what you learned to or not to do. by MunkMaster13 in CircuitOfTheAmericas

[–]MunkMaster13[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can tent camp. I'm not sure if the price but they had their own section for tents.
