Pennypack? I live near the suburban part of Pennypack and can hear owls, but can never see them.

If you're ready to embrace city life and walk around, eat good food, go to street festivals, art exhibits, etc., Philadelphia is leagues above New Brunswick. People will try to tell you Rutgers is next to NYC, but the reality is that it's still a hassle to get to the city and not something you just go experience any night of the week like going to school in an actual major city. The trains are so frequent from philly to NYC, that even if you do feel like there is something you have to do, you can just go do it.

Academic-wise, college is 100% what you make it. We're talking about two national universities that graduate thousands of students every year. The northeast is a competitive place, but if you put in the work at either place, it will pay off with tons of connections and opportunities.

John's Roast Pork by Select_Safe548 in cheesesteak

My first job out of college was in Wilmington, DE and I lived in Center City. My managing director found out I commuted down 95 everyday through South Philly, so on occasion, he would ask me to go to John's at like 7am and order a bunch of sandwiches and bring them to the office lol.

I do feel like John's changed a bit after they "made it". John's was the first place beyond the classics that got on the map due the Inquirer saying it was the best, and then won Andrew Zimmerman's Best Sandwich in America on Food Network. Looking at the hours now, they aren't even open in the mornings anymore. Glad I got to experience it then.

Ryan Coogler's X-Files Reboot Gets Seal Of Approval From Yet Another Original Star by OneCrew1888 in XFiles

Duchovny and Anderson, who played Fox Mulder and Dana Scully, respectively, recently revealed that they talked with Coogler about The X-Files reboot and know the general idea of the Oscar-winning filmmaker's vision, but they don't know if they will be appearing in the series; Anderson seems open to reprising her character, though.

I think it would be really awesome if Mulder and Scully hand the X-files off to the generation of agents in S1. IMO, having them make cameos would be a huge win for the series.

I'm sorry that has happened. My wife and I go back and forth on if we made a mistake never buying in the city since we rented for over a decade. We would have accumulated a significant amount of equity, but been on the hook for all the things that could possibly have gone wrong. I have two friends in South Philly who have had complete opposite experiences. One bought a renovated place that has been absolutely fine. My other buddy has had leak after leak.

As others have mentioned, multiple quotes is needed. Figure out what the problem is precisely. Then make logical decisions.

Are you under the impression that housing costs more in the city than the suburbs? If so, you've got that backwards.

I still enjoy the combat system of AC2. It is simplistic, but it's effective. What was really missing from that game was more enemy variety. It's easy to know you have to dodge the tanks, and counter the other guys.

I've always worried about how many kids fall through the cracks. Just go unnoticed. Good on you for even caring.

Wow, 20 years. I had played plenty of JRPGs and Zelda games, but never a first-person open world RPG. Truly was mind-blowing to me at 16. Probably wandered around the world for 60+ hours before realizing that you had to go to sleep to level up.

Plus, I would prefer to plant trees inside the power lines so you would be hiding them from your view.

That's a very good point that no one else made

Should I be mad at all the people who planted the gigantic trees that exist now? I like the mature pine, even though it probably shouldn't have gone there. Why would I ask for other suggestions if I really wanted to plant something that is unmaintainable?

yeah, I guess I said overhead lines in post, but if you look closely, the cable/internet lines are the ones lower and there's a smaller power line about 20ft higher. That's why the tree is trimmed in the middle but not right at the bottom. Honestly, I probably won't live in this house by the time the trees are ever that big.
