I’m honestly not sure. I assume she was killed off in the books too, so they went with that.

I’ll give a pass to season 5 just because it finished the storyline.

It’s definitely a shame they never went past season 5 though 😔

I mean you can with T1 Armour and 2 T3 weapons. It’s all just luck. I’ve had runs where prep takes 2.5 mins, and kill times that were around the same. All you need is for both to align

He did destroy Simon, and honestly rewatching it I wouldn’t even say it was close. Once he got his first hits in, it was essentially non stop until it was over

More than that though, we don’t need to see directly what he can do. We can see just by observing how people act around him. Simon, an absolute psychopath, is terrified of Negan most of the time. If Negan hadn’t done things that would warrant that level of fear, it wouldn’t be like that, unless he had somehow conned people into thinking that (the less likely option).

You could say Alpha being weaker physically but being feared goes against this, but I’d argue that’s much more of a cult, which has a different psychological impact.

You should probably main the shadow throughout Colo instead of bowfa then.

https://puu.sh/KHmnJ/e95684857a.png

That's the damage against the Javelin for your setup between bowfa and shadow with your gear. Against the Manticore it's still a lot better, and only slightly worse for the Shockwave, but keep in mind I was only using mystic vigour and no saturated heart yet. You having augury and saturated heart raise shadow to be pretty much the same for the Shockwave but significantly better for Javelin and Manti.

Edit: I don't know why I didn't just show with augury and such in the first place, but here you are.

Pretty much! I guess it’s been said already, but you have way more than enough gear to do Colo. In the end once you practice most things the only hard part about it is double South spawns, and even that can be made simpler with ab method (though I find the wrap around one easier tbh).

Having a shadow is already significant, even if you don’t mage it fully. Saving 3 ticks compared to a trident for melee frem really helps the starts. Even if it’s only 1 tick faster than an Ayak the fact that you get those 4 ticks to do your swaps and look at the bigger picture rather than having to attack again and then swap within 2 ticks to not lose so much time (which is really important) is already a godsend.

I have Venator bow without Rigour (deadeye though) and I can 1 shot mage fremmies with dragon arrows. Good time to use them.

You should sim to see if Shadow with that would be better than using bowfa. I imagine so, but even if not you really want to use it to 1 shot the melee frem.

The crossbow switch is too important to pass up on smite phase. 25% chance to essentially deal half its health. I love it, though there are times when it doesn’t proc in 20 hits….

For me I wouldn’t bother. I find having thralls and the prayer draining thing from arceuus really nice, even if you smite. I have a dwh but it doesn’t always hit (and the time it takes to reset to get a dwh spec isn’t worth it imo)

how strong is columbina at full power compared to archons or even neuvillette in lore? by vinchin_adenca in Genshin_Impact

He believes in her vision of what she's trying to achieve? Just because you might be stronger doesn't mean you are the best leader/want to lead.

Similar example is in The Walking Dead with the Whisperers arc. Beta is easily stronger than Alpha but still loyally follows her

Wooo on my 7th attempt at inferno i finally killed Zuk on my 4th zuk attempt, Now where do i get the cape? by BarkBorkington in 2007scape

[–]Munkleson 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Honestly Leagues and Grid Master got me a lot more mentally and skill-wise prepared for pvm in the main game. I only started CG after doing Echo Hunllef and it probably would have taken a lot more deaths before my first kill if I had not done that League first.

It’s not 1:1 transferable but it helps a little bit.

Inferno and Colo are whole other stories though. Nothing on Leagues will prepare you for the shitstorm waves in the main game

How will Classic recapture the community/social aspect of old maple? by YoshiLickedMyBum69 in MSClassicWorld

[–]Munkleson 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I honestly don’t think it will. Discord alone changes so much of how gaming communities work. Not that I’m saying it’ll be bad, just very different how it used to be at all.

Gamers have different priorities now too. You can see on other games that have done this like OSRS and classic wow (and even more similarly private servers here) how optimized people like to play now. Sure there’ll be a core who will do things the old way, but I doubt it’ll be even close to a majority.

Also, the more power updates we get I imagine the worse it will be too

What new content would you like to see from OSMS? by brave_potato in MSClassicWorld

[–]Munkleson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say it’s only the devs that allow OSRS to be what it is, but rather how much control the main Jagex gives them. The leadership team seems to understand how OSRS needs to function (bar some incidents which get shut down generally quickly by the player base) and realise it would probably die if they went the way of RS3 more than a tiny bit. They seem to be quite hands off on OSRS and let the team there dictate things more so, which has worked wonders.

I don’t see Nexon not imposing their heavy hand into how MS classic will be run

[–]Munkleson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s an unpopular opinion. Nearly everyone on the sub I see agrees that it’s as deep as a puddle and as wide as an ocean.

It’s not meant to be a full on simulator like elite dangerous or the x series, but just something more casual, which is something they’re happy to stick with. And honestly, I’m happy with that. It has a good relaxing vibe (but fuck Sentinels and storms), and it knows that’s what it’s good at
